The Toy Store
The car pulled up to the only toy store in town- Dark's Toys. Kandi was overwelmed with excitment, because for some reason her parents wouldn't let her go there a whole lot. But, today was one of the only days she got a chance to go. "We're here!" Her mom said happily. "EEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" Kandi squealed. "WHAT WAS THAT?" Her dad asked. "Sorry!" Said Kandi."I am just SOOOO excited!!" "Like I can tell." Her dad muttered. Kandi unbuckled, and slid open the door. She climbed out of the car, and told her mom and dad to wait for her.
She was already twelve, so she didn't need anyone to look after her in stores.
She slammed the door shut and raced to the swinging glass doors of the store. "Oh my gosh.." She said to herself. "I'm soooooo excited!!" She pressed her face onto the glass and got a good gesture of what it looked like and where all the good stuff was. The only thing she didn't notice was what the employees were wearing. The men wore pitch black suits.. and the women were dressed in a black shirt and skirt. "Ok, I should probably go inside now," she said. And with that, she quickly opened the door and ran to a random aisle.
"Oooooooohhh... coool..." Kandi said looking at some shiny thing that looked like a skull. It seemed to whisper "You need to go away... you are in great danger in this store..." Kandi went from aisle to aisle, looking at all the toys. Finally, she found something that fascinated her. It was a toy gun. "Oh this is sooo coool!!!" She said. Then, curiosity overwelmed her. "I wanna fake-shoot this at people and pretend to snipe!!!" She whispered excitedly.
Kandi was fake-shooting everything, from the shelves to the people. She even shot herself one time! "Pew pew! Pew pew pew pew!" She made fake shooting sounds with her mouth. Suddenly, something very odd started to happen. Everything she shot had holes in it- And everyone she shot was bleeding a lot, crying, and even just... falling to the ground. "What's happening..?" She asked herself. Just then, she felt alot of pain where she fake-shot herself. "Owwwww..." Kandi let out a really long moan of pain. She looked where she was feeling pain, and she was bleeding alot. "W-What's h-h-h-happening.. oooohhhhh...." she stuttered. Then, she realized. What the skull whispered was true. She did need to leave before her curiousity overwelmed her. The gun.. was.... not a toy..
Her pulse stopped.
Her eyes rolled back into her head.
She could feel her life trickling away from her.. She.. was.. dead.
