It almost feels like a dream
One I never want to let go
How I lost it all in a glimpse
In a world with all but a certain tomorrowA sad story untold
Is how I wish it was, concealed
But cruel reality bestowed
No mercy on me it showedHe's moved on now, he's happy
Living a dream like I never existed
His smile still radiant and blinding
How it brings back memories so distantOne last look I peeked, through cracks of open opportunity
A silent kiss I blew without word of encouragement
A bittersweet feeling I felt of a one sided farewell
In my memory you've stayed for too long, letting go is a story I can't yet tell
