Confession ?... As if!..

I wrapped my scarf around my neck , making sure to swiftly grab my satchel before leaving my house. I locked the door behind me , making my way to school. The sunlight shone in my eyes , being occasionally blocked out by trees. As I approached the building , I could hear the silent chatter of my peers , and love confessions. Love confessions. I sighed , before shaking it off and walking up to the enterance. Valentines Day. The one day I hate most. Yes , it makes me happy to see my ''friends'' get chocolates off their soon-to-be lovers , but it also makes me feel jealous. I'd never been confessed to once , and I sort of get why. As if anyone would like someone as fake as me?.. God... I held my head in my hands

,,Mitsuba!!'' Someone called out , rushing to come and sit next to me. I lifted my head , and turned to face them. Ah. Kou. Of all days.

''Hey , Lame-ass.,, I laughed, crossing my arms. ,,Got yourself a girlfriend yet?''

He looked at me confused.

,,Wha-?.. OHHH...." He exclaimed , before looking at me giddily.

''No... but that's okay!!,, He eventually said , grinning. Kou rushed to pull something out of his bag.

All I could do was stare at him , puzzled. What could he be pulling now?...

"What're you doing?...,, I asked.

The wind blew through his hair , which was practically shining in the morning light. He just looked so... pretty... Wait

.. pretty? As if!..

,,I uhm...." He finally said , "I got you somethi-,,

And the bell cut him off. I sniggered for a second , before shoving my camera back into my bag and walking off , leaving him on the stairs.

I stared at the back of Sousukes head , holding the small bag of chocolates in my hand.

"Damn it...,, I muttered to myself , picking my own bag up and walking into the school.

After 6th period , I wandered around for a while before finally spotting Sousuke. I ran up to them , laughing at their startled reaction.

,,UWAH!- M-Minamoto-Kun..! You can't just scare me like that!!"

They exclaimed , holding their arms up in defense.

Without speaking, I grasped their wrist and started walking out the school.

,,Y-you're not stealing me to do something pervy, are you?....'' They asked , stammering. I looked back at them.

"We're just going outside school , Sousuke. I need to talk to you about something important!,, I smiled , before turning my head back around again.

When we were outside , I took them around to the back of the school.

"You ARE gonna do something pervy..! I knew it!! C-creep! YO-,, They shouted, the end getting cut off by me covering their mouth with my hand.

,,Shut up sousuke... I've got something to ask you.." I managed tk say , rubbing my cheeks to try and get that lingering blush off my face.

They pushed my hand away.

,,Get on with it , then! I don't have all day..!"

"I- I uhm...,,  I couldn't get the words out.

"I like you!!..,,

Their face turned to shock, taking a step back.

,,What?-.."

"I've liked you since first year..! I don't know why , but it's just been bugging me..! So.. I guess I had to say it..,,

Mitsuba stared at me , their face pink. (Practically matching their hair lmaolmao) The sun cracked through the trees , shining onto sousukes face. He looked ethereal. I just wanted to kiss him in the moment...

They grabbed onto my arms pulling me close. Their pink sweater rubbed my skin , making me feel squirmy for a bit.

"Minamoto-Kun.. I-,,

I couldn't take it any more. I leaned in and kissed him.
