I chuckled at Mieshaniel's teasing.

"Hey, I'm just happy for Ryan and Rinshea!"

Mieshaniel smiled, her eyes sparkling.

"You're a good matchmaker, I'll give you that."

As we strolled away, I asked, "Want to grab dinner?"

Mieshaniel nodded, and we walked hand in hand.

Over dinner, our conversation flowed effortlessly.

I shared stories, making her laugh.

Mieshaniel's guard dropped, revealing her vulnerable side.

As the night ended, I walked her home.

"Thanks for tonight, Mieshaniel."

She smiled, her eyes locked on mine.

"Thanks, Alexis. You're not so bad."

I grinned, feeling a connection.

"Can I see you again tomorrow?"

Mieshaniel's smile hinted at a yes.

Hindi naman masama diba? wala naman si Erica.

I sighed before I give my answer, "Sure. Sunduin mo ako ulit bukas after our Supreme Council Students meeting tomorrow."

When we arrived at my Apartment and I give him my genuine smiles.

"Bye, Zeus!" I said then walk to entering my apartment.

My heart pounding again inside my chest. I smiled widely inside my apartment.

"Nice, iba na talaga epekto sa akin ng impaktong iyon...." I whispered to myself inside my apartment.

I smiled, thrilled by Mieshaniel's agreement.

"Bye, Mieshaniel! Tomorrow, then!"

As I drove away, I felt elated.

Mieshaniel's smile lingered in my mind.

The next day, I arrived at her apartment, eager.

"Hey, Mieshaniel! Ready?"

Mieshaniel emerged, radiant in her council attire.

"Hey, Zeus! Let's go."

Our banter continued, effortless and playful.

When Zeus drove me at UST then I gave my goodbye and he said that he will back after my meeting.

"hala, Madrigal! close na pala kayo ng Med student na yon?"

"Madrigal! Kailan pa kayo ng Med student ng UP!?"

"Madrigal! baka sa darating na NCAA games ay UP ang icheer mo ha! Huwag ka!"

"Panigurado UP ang susuportahan niya!"

"traydor ka Madrigal! UST tayo!"

I just rolled my eyes to them but smiling when they bantering me.

"Member ako ng Cheer Squad natin! Magtigil kayo!" I said while laughing.

"Wala na, nakangiti na!"

"Madrigal, ikaw pa ba yan?"

"Akala ko ba walang lalaking makakalapit sayo!? Bakit yong Med student ng UP?"

"Woah, Madrigal! wala na ang angas ni Madrigal sa isang Med student ng UP!"

I just ignored them while walking inside our Campus.

Maybe, just maybe Alexis.

I returned to UST, eager to see Mieshaniel.

As I approached, I overheard her friends teasing her.

"Hey, what's going on?" I asked, smiling.

Mieshaniel rolled her eyes, laughing. "Just my friends."

One of them chimed in, "We're just surprised she's smitten with a UP Med student!"

Mieshaniel blushed, playfully hitting her friend.

I chuckled, feeling happy.

"Ready for the meeting?" I asked.

Mieshaniel nodded, and we walked together.

As we entered the meeting room, her hand brushed mine.

I took her hand, feeling a spark.
