Ruin's senses were overwhelmed as he and Homura were thrust into a strange and wondrous world through the rift. The sky above was a vibrant shade of purple, casting an ethereal glow over the vast, grass-covered plain below. In the distance loomed a towering mountain, its peak shrouded in clouds."It's so beautiful,"Ruin muttered to himself.
Homura's delighted laughter snapped Ruin out of his daze, reminding him of their perilous situation. With a sense of trepidation mingled with awe, he followed her lead as they began their ascent up the imposing mountain.
However, their journey was quickly interrupted by the appearance of dog-like beasts, their snarling jaws and razor-sharp claws posing a formidable threat. Ruin's heart raced with fear, but before panic could overtake him, Homura's laughter echoed through the air.
"You're trembling like a frightened child," she taunted, her amusement evident in her tone.
Ruin gritted his teeth and answered ,"I have never seen such creatures in my life before so it's only logical to be scared." "Come on,just agree you are a scaredy cat or are you acting tough to impress little old me,oh I'm so flattered,do you think I'm that beautifull?" She asked Ruin with a seductive tone who quickly blushed leaving Homura breaking out in laughter.
With a swift motion of her hands, Homura unleashed a wave of black flames, incinerating the beasts in an instant. As the smoke cleared, Ruin watched in awe as the creatures disintegrated before his eyes, their threat extinguished as quickly as it had appeared.
Homura turned to him, a knowing look in her eyes. "I understand now. You're from that settlement, aren't you? No wonder you were afraid," she remarked, her voice tinged with a hint of sympathy as she was wondering internally why she couldn't sense even a hint of bloodlines energy coming from him."Well you should count yourself lucky as you will get to see all kinds of creatures and witness the unparalleled strength Homura the almighty."
Ignoring the haughtiness of Homura,Ruin nodded silently, grateful for her understanding. He had never encountered such creatures before, their ferocity and otherworldly appearance striked fear into his heart.
As they continued their ascent, the beasts they encountered grew increasingly powerful, their bloodline energy pulsating with a menacing aura but Homura dispatched them with ease, her movements fluid and precise, each strike calculated to perfection.
With each encounter, Ruin marveled at Homura's strength, her prowess surpassing anything he had ever seen. Which led him to ask,"What is you bloodlines grade Homura?"
"Obviously a person as beautiful and powerfull as me can only have the demon grade."she said haughtily ."You really have a demon bloodline grade ?"Ruin asked Homura in disbelief because in that world bloodlines and beasts were ranked into 7 categories from the weakest which was basic followed by advanced then king then emporer then legendary then demigod and last and the most powerfull demon grade.
Homura nodded, a hint of pride evident in her expression. "Indeed. It is what grants me my power," she explained, her voice tinged with a sense of solemnity.
As the realization sank in, Ruin couldn't help but feel a mixture of awe and apprehension. It finally explained how Homura made defeating the beasts seem so easy and her show of power against the tied up men possible. The people with demon grade bloodlines were only a handful and he never expected to meet one here.
