"I was wondering for how long you would just stand there and watch," she said with an irritated tone while turning and facing the qilin. She tried charging directly at it but she retreated almost immediately .The qilin had released a crimson mist all around it from which Homura sensed an ominous aura. She then decided to make a mental note to never let that red thing touch her. She tried sending out multiple attacks toward the mist but to her disappointment the mist only cleared for a short while before being replenished.
"You got something quite troublesome there, could you pretty please remove it just for me?" She asked the qilin with a mock sweetness which still stood where it was."Figures, I didn't think it would be that easy anyway," she said as she suddenly swung her daggers which she had been concentrating large amounts of flames in towards the qilin. It released a purple arc which cleaved through the mist like it was nothing and hit the qilin drawing blood.
"See, if I put enough fire power in it, your red mist is basically useless," Homura taunted it. The qilin which was frustrated at getting injured and being mocked by Homura finally broke out of the calm demeanour it had been displaying and charged, the red mist solidifying into lethal darts that sliced through the air. Homura weaved through them, her blades cleaving the mist, rendering it harmless before it could graze her skin. Homura unleashed more concentrated flame arcs making the qilin abandon its idea of using the red mist as it charged directly again but Homura anticipated this as she suddenly disappeared appearing behind the qilin stabbing it multiple times before retreating when it released the red mist again before resorting to using the concentrated flame arcs again.
The qilin cried out in frustration and pain as it turned to escape as Homura kept finding ways to injure it no matter what it did, throwing its strategy into complete disarray. "You think I'll just watch as you run away you stupid donkey! Come back to mommy!" Homura shouted while laughing as she quickly gave chase .
