"This...this cant be happening! Come on get up! get up! get up! You promised me you would win, come on get up and win!" Ruin kept shouting with tears rolling down his face, but there was no response. The animals kept unleashing attack after attack on Homura's motionless body.

"Stop! Just..just let her go!" He tried shouting at the creatures but it came out as a feeble whisper. To his horror, they all suddenly snapped their heads in his direction, their eyes gleaming with a malevolent glint. Fear coursed through Ruin's veins as he stumbled backward, his mind racing with panicked thoughts. He turned to run but before taking the first step , the griffin appeared before him swatting him over to the side crashing into the wall.

Ruin coughed up a mouthful of blood as he gasped for air. Before he could muster the strength to move a searing pain shot through his leg, a spear, crackling with electric fury, impaled him, the shock of electricity sending spasms rippling through his body. Agony consumed him, every nerve ablaze with torment, as he writhed on the ground in agony, his vision swimming as he struggled to remain conscious.

"Come..pick on someone...your own size.. you weak..." Homura tried shouting before coughing up a mouthful of blood. She struggled getting up with blood oozing out of the wounds all over her body. Her body was on the verge of collapsing, her mind close to shutting down but she still pressed on.

"I am..sorry Ruin...I took to long..and you got hurt..but..you dont have to worry now.. I'll kill all these weak insects." Homura rasped, her voice a shadow of its former strength before coughing up another mouthfull of blood.

Ruin could swear he heard the beast laughing but he did not care, those words of assurance was all he needed. He wanted to shout to her that it was okay but before he could utter a single syllable, a suffocating force enveloped the room, silencing him—a presence so heavy that it stilled the very air they breathed, freezing them in place.
