Reader's pov

"y/n? You never told me you had a boyfriend." My mom stated in a surprised manner. I refused, shaking my head.

"No mom! I barely know him, we met a couple of days ago, he offered to walk me here since...uh..." I stammered, I didn't know what to say. I didn't want to scare her and tell her some random 20 year old tried jumping me...

"She fell over, I felt bad and wanted to make sure she got here okay." Rindou finished.

I looked behind, flashing him a smile.

"Oh. I see. Are you feeling alright?" My mom examined my face.

I nodded, grabbing her bags, Rindou stood behind, silently watched what we did. I smiled at her, then looked at Rindou, I felt bad for just leaving him here.

"Wanna come have dinner with us?" I invited him, my mom also looked over at him, giving him an amused look.

"Yeah sure, I wouldn't mind." He replied, checking his watch for the time.

We made our back home, it was a nice walk, the cool breeze brushed against my face. Entering the house, Rindou slipped his shoes off, as did my mom and I.

"Well kids, how does chicken katsu curry sound?"

My mouth watered just at the sound of it, Rindou shrugged.

"I'll eat anything thank you."

Manners. The jnfamous haitani brother has manners? I chuckled to myself.

"I'll be back, Rindou you can play on my Playstation if you'd like." I quickly set it up for him.

"Thanks y/n."

I ran up to my room, quickly jumping into the shower.

Once making my way downstairs, I saw Rindou playing GTA San Andreas.

"How do you like it?" I asked, trying to start a conversation.

"Hm?" He hummed.

"The game. How do you like it?" I chuckled, sitting beside him.

"Oh yeah it's fun."

It grew quiet again. My mom had finished making our food and set it out on the table.

We said grace before eating, Rindou sat there, barely touching his food.

"You gonna eat?" I asked, placing my chopsticks down.

He nodded, poking his food with chopsticks of his own.

Rindou eventually started eating after I had finished. I grabbed out a tub of mango ice cream, signalling to Rindou to see if he wanted some, to which he nodded. I pulled out two bowls, serving us both two scoops each. I went over, placing his bowl in front of him and taking away his dirty dishes.

"Mango is my favourite." Rindou stated, watching me wash the dishes.

I smiled, "Me too."

"We're more alike than I thought." He said, standing beside me.
