the noises from outside the room disturbed her and Lucy sat up, sleep making her clumsy and her legs fell off the bed and the rest of her body seemed to follow.
laughter arose from the en suite, "that was so funny do it again so i can record it!" Taylor shouted as his head popped from round the door.
"no way that hurt like hell" lucy replyed as she rubbed her elbow.
Taylor came back into the room and pulled Lucy up from under her arms and placed her on the bed, he was stronger than he looked. the bed creaked as Lucy lower her body down and sat with legs crossed in the middle of the bed, her hair cascading down her back. this was the first time Taylor had seen Lucy with her hair down and she looked so beautiful. Taylor grabbed hold of a pillow and threw himself onto the bed with the pillow facing down so it would protect his stomach. they both started to laugh.
"you are so stupid you know" Lucy said looking into Taylor's eyes.
"yep but that why you love me" Taylor replied pulling Lucy's head towards his. they kissed and Lucy lied down on the bed, her legs twisted around Taylor's, there lips joined in a unbreakable bond.
"so what do you want to do today?" taylor said as they walked down towards the pier, the clouds blocked the bright blue sky from view and made the air seem damp and thick.
"can we go play some video games in the arcade?" Lucy said playfully and began to quicken her pace.
"course we can we can do anything you want babe" he kissed her forehead and they ran towards the arcade, the sound of sliding coins and balls being bounced made Lucy happy because this is how she remembered her childhood, once when she was 6 her mother had brought her down to the pier and they had ice cream and they played in the arcade winning themselves a huge teddy which Lucy always treasured, but now Lucy's mother was sick and Cain, her horrible brother, was the only family member allowed to look after her and her dying mother.
"oh my god can you stop day dreaming?" taylor snapped lucys attention back to reality, thye were now standing outside the arcade and taylor was tryign to get her attention.
"oh I'm sorry you know how i am" Lucy replied blushing
"yes i do but can you please keep you attention on the arcade because i actually want to win something today" Taylor pulled Lucy into the arcade and went straight or the highest ticket paying machine and they played all day till it was 6 and then they cashed in their tickets to get a voucher for some shop in town. they picked up the voucher and left the arcade and headed to the beach.
"lucy may i ask you something?" taylor whispered
"oh course you can, ask me anything you want"
"will you stay and wait here will i go and pick something up?"
"okay, ill go sit in the coffee shop across the street"
Taylor kissed Lucy on the head and then walked back over the beach towards the town. Lucy picked herself up off the wet sand and brushed her shorts off and went and sat in the coffee shop, she had a window seat because she wanted to watch the sun set over the beach. the sun descended and Lucy sat there sipping a small coke and eating a plate of chips, that was all she was able to eat and she doubted she would be able to eat when she got home. Lucy saw Taylor enter the shop and she smiled at him.
"Lucy finish up and meet me outside" Taylor said before he left the shop. Lucy was now suspicious because this was not the Taylor she knew, he was not secretive and she worried at what she was walking into.
Lucy walked outside and followed Taylor to the edge of the pier and she stood there confused.
"what are we doing here?, i need to get back my mom and Cain..." Taylor pressed his finger tips to Lucy's lips and he got down on one knee!
"taylor get yourself up now!"
"no, just listen okay?" Taylor coughed and cleared his throat "Lucy, you are my everything and i love you i wanted to know if you would do the pleasure of becoming my wife"
Lucy stood there in astonishment, what had just happened? Lucy replied quietly
"yes, yes of course" taylor got up and pressed his lips to lucys.
