"slowly overcoming addiction "

Taesan smiled softly as he looked down at Leehan, who was curled up in his arms, fast asleep. The warmth of Leehan's body against his own and the soft rise and fall of his chest gave Taesan a sense of peace he hadn't felt in a long time. The events of last night played over and over in his mind like a favorite song, each moment etched into his memory—the laughter, the vulnerability, the shared confessions, and the way their lips fit together like pieces of a puzzle.

He never thought he'd feel like this—so unguarded, so genuinely happy. Taesan let his fingers trail gently through Leehan's soft hair, his mind swimming with thoughts he wasn't quite ready to admit to himself.

"Taesan..." Leehan mumbled groggily, his voice soft and coated with sleep. He stirred slightly, his face still half-buried in Taesan's chest, before looking up with a smile that was bright even in the early morning light.

"Good morning," Taesan replied, his voice warm as his hand continued to play with Leehan's hair. He couldn't help but smile at the sight of Leehan's sleepy but radiant expression.

"Good morning," Leehan echoed, his smile widening as he reached out and grabbed Taesan's hand. He began caressing it slowly, his fingers tracing over Taesan's knuckles in a way that felt so tender, so intimate, it made Taesan's chest tighten.

"You're so pretty," Taesan murmured, his voice barely above a whisper. He leaned down and pressed a gentle kiss to Leehan's forehead. The gesture made Leehan's smile grow impossibly brighter, his cheeks tinting a soft shade of pink.

Leehan shifted slightly, propping himself up on his elbows so he could look directly at Taesan. "Can we hang out today?" he asked, his voice carrying a childlike excitement that made Taesan chuckle.

Taesan laughed softly, his heart warming at how effortlessly adorable Leehan was. "Of course we can," he replied, his lips curling into a small smile.

Leehan's face lit up as he grabbed both of Taesan's hands, squeezing them gently in his excitement. His enthusiasm was infectious, and Taesan found himself smiling even wider. Leehan, however, wasn't content to just sit still. With a mischievous grin, he leaned forward, pulling Taesan down so their faces were only inches apart.

Taesan could feel Leehan's breath against his lips, and for a moment, everything else seemed to fade away—the world, their troubles, their insecurities. It was just them. "I'm so grateful I met you," Taesan whispered, his voice filled with a sincerity that made Leehan's heart flutter.

Without a word, Leehan leaned in, pressing his lips to Taesan's in a kiss that was soft, deliberate, and filled with unspoken emotions. It wasn't like the kiss they'd shared the night before, which had been fueled by raw passion and an overwhelming need to connect. This one was different—it was tender, slow, and sweet, as if they were both trying to convey everything they felt without saying a single word.

Taesan's hands found their way to Leehan's waist, holding him gently as he deepened the kiss. He could feel Leehan smiling against his lips, and it made his chest swell with a warmth he didn't know he was capable of feeling. In that moment, he realized something: he didn't just care for Leehan—he was falling for him, and it terrified him just as much as it exhilarated him.

Leehan pulled back slightly, his face still hovering close to Taesan's, their noses brushing. His smile was soft yet radiant, his eyes sparkling with a mix of joy and something deeper, something unspoken. "You make me so happy, Taesan," he said softly, his voice barely above a whisper.

Taesan smiled back, brushing a strand of hair away from Leehan's face. "You make me happy too," he admitted, his voice filled with a quiet vulnerability. "I didn't think... I didn't think I could feel this way again."

Leehan's smile grew, and he leaned down to press a quick, playful kiss to Taesan's lips before sitting up fully. "Then let's make today even better," he said, his voice filled with determination. He reached for Taesan's hand, tugging him up with a strength that surprised him. "We can go wherever you want, do whatever you want. I just want to spend the day with you."

Taesan chuckled, shaking his head fondly. "You're so full of energy."

Leehan grinned, wrapping his arms around Taesan's waist. "That's because I'm with you."

As they got ready for the day, Leehan couldn't help but steal glances at Taesan, his heart swelling with every smile, every laugh. He knew he wasn't perfect—far from it. He had his struggles, his flaws, his addictions. But being with Taesan made him want to try, to be better, not just for himself but for the boy who had unknowingly become his anchor.

Little did Leehan know, Taesan was feeling the same way. As they walked out into the world together, hand in hand, Taesan silently vowed to himself that he would do whatever it took to be better—not just for Leehan, but for the happiness they were starting to build together.

Because maybe, just maybe, they could be each other's reason to heal.
