Haunted house

The Heart Pirates had decided to take a little break to visit a seemingly quiet island. Penguin, Sachi, and Bepo had discovered a famous "haunted house" on the island and managed to convince everyone, including Law, to come along. Of course, Law wasn't thrilled by the idea, but he eventually gave in.

At the entrance, the atmosphere was already heavy, with artificial fog swirling around your feet and ghostly laughter echoing in the background. Penguin and Sachi led the way with a bit too much enthusiasm, while Bepo, always a little nervous, clung closely behind them. Law followed, his face expressionless, with you beside him, who shared his skepticism.

"I don't see what's supposed to be scary," You murmured, hands in your pockets, as a skeleton dangling from the ceiling swayed weakly in front of you.

"This is ridiculous," Law replied calmly, his eyes scanning the place with disinterest.

Everything was going smoothly until, without warning, the floor beneath Penguin, Sachi, and Bepo opened with a sinister mechanical noise. In perfect synchronization, they vanished through the trapdoor with startled cries, though Sachi's reaction stood out. He let out a scream so high-pitched that your eyes widened in surprise.

"AAAAAAIIIIH!!" screamed Sachi, his voice hitting unsuspected octaves.

Penguin tried to grab onto the edge but failed, while Bepo half-apologized as he fell along with them.

Doubled over with laughter, you turned to Law, who seemed to be barely containing his exasperation. But Penguin, catching his breath from the other side of the trapdoor, shot back in a half-annoyed, half-offended tone:

"Man, are you serious?! Did you hear that scream?!"

You burst into even louder laughter, tears in your eyes, while Law pinched the bridge of his nose, trying to keep his composure.

"Well, that was unexpected," you said, wiping away a tear of laughter.

"No need to panic. We'll meet up at the exit," Law declared calmly.

Both of you continued down the dark, eerie hallway. The fake sounds of clinking chains and sinister laughter echoed around you, but neither of you seemed particularly impressed. However, as you rounded a corner, a figure suddenly burst out of a hidden door with a shrill scream-a "screamer" lunging directly at you.

"WAAAAH!!" the creature shrieked right in your face.

Without thinking, you instinctively grabbed Law's arm in a panicked reaction.

"FREAKING SCREAMER!!"

You weren't scared of monsters or the atmosphere, but these screamers always took you by surprise.

Law looked down at his arm, then back at you, his face completely impassive. He sighed.

"Really?" he said, finding your reaction somewhat ridiculous. "It's just a person in costume."

Still clinging to his arm, you quickly pulled yourself together, your cheeks slightly flushed with embarrassment. You let go with an exasperated sigh.

"Not everyone is immune to jump scares, alright?"

Law didn't respond, simply shaking his head, a faintly smug smile appearing at the corner of his lips. You continued through the maze-like house until the next challenge loomed in front of you: a ridiculously narrow hallway.

"We really have to go through there?" You asked, glancing at the barely wide-enough space for one person.

"It's the only visible exit," Law replied, stepping forward.
