It's been three years since Damien Wayne was taken by Bruce Wayne/Batman. Talia Al Ghul gave birth to another son in secret. The fear of losing her son to Bruce again has prompted her decision. She named her son David Zap Al Ghul. David preferred to be called Zap instead. One day Talia decided to finally tell Ra's Al Ghul (her father and Zap's grandfather) about Zap's existence.
Although Ra's was a little upset when Talia told him about Zap, he clearly didn't want his daughter to have a another child after seeing how she was and felt about Bruce taking Damien when she tried to take him back.
A few more years go by, Zap ended up Ra's favorite and most trusted , he was fond of his protectiveness when it came to Talia. At the age of nine Zap became known as the strongest member the Al Ghul lineage, Ra's ended up showing him the royal weaponry. Zap saw a rock in the edge of the royal weaponry hall, when he touched the rock it revealed a sword with a gold handle, it was glowing a bright light blue and flew into Zap's hands.
"Well I'll be it... looks like it finally found its master" Ra's smiled as he patted Zap's head, when he tried to hold the sword he was shocked with a wave of electricity. He pulled his hand away quickly and chuckled slightly. "Make that a loyal one too..." be muttered softly.
Zap was mesmerized by the sword, he started doing tricks with it like he's done it before with no problem. "This is cool..." Zap said softly.
"What is?" Talia asked walking into the weaponry looking at her father Ra's with a slightly disapproving look as they agreed to not bring Zap into the weaponry. She looked at Zap who was doing tricks with his sword, her facial expressions showing both concern and support. "What happened to waiting?" She asked her father.
Ra's looked at her with a small smile forming on his lips. "I know we agreed to wait for the perfect time but... look at him" Ra's said proudly nudging his daughter to soften her mood.
