SEATLLE, WASHINGTON: JANUARY 2005

Astrid Hill would like the record to reflect that she absolutely despises hospitals. Completely and utterly despises them. Dramatic as it may be, Astrid's hate for them ran as deep as the darkest trench in the ocean and was as long-running as time itself. She would go as far as to say that hospitals were her mortal enemy, as much as broccoli used to be when she was five. A statement the blonde-haired girl would never make lightly. Astrid Hill truly loathed hospitals. The six-monthly visits she had made since she was a few months old had not helped in the slightest.

"Stop frowning Astrid." Her mother chided softly. "You keep it up and your face will stay like that."

The blonde-haired girl turned her eyes away from the wall she was staring at and focused on her mother. "I'm not frowning, I'm pouting. Big difference mother."

The older blonde stared back at her with a raised eyebrow and an unimpressed look upon her face. "Don't 'mother' me, young lady, doesn't matter what it's called just stop doing it."
