Chapter 8 + Author's Note

I do understand that my constant author's notes are a bit annoying. It interrupts the flow of the story, and your  ability to read it as one seamless story. But honestly, I need to fill you in on some stuff, right?

I'm currently back at home in Oregon now, and I will be writing this weekend. My writing schedule should be consistent from now on (I hope(keeping fingers crossed), however, if I do stray from the normal schedule, I apologize greatly. Moving to a new school and registering for AP classes is pretty hard, especially when everything is scattered throughout the summer.

Chapter Eight is really super duper short, because I have an extreme case of writers block. I am considering to taking a break from Parallel Worlds and working mostly on this one for now on. ^v^

I again want to thank you for all your support! You guys are the best readers a person could ever have.

So, on with the story.

Levana woke up to the same dream, the one that seared her flesh. She woke up screaming.

Cinder drifted in and out of the blackness of sleep, seeing blurry outlines drift in and out of her vision. She tried to move, to stir herself from sleep, but she was as stiff as glass. There was something wrong.

Kai and Iko were put into a flurry, moving the wounded crew mates, too busy to notice that someone was missing.

Kai had been mentally damaged. In a strange way.

It had always been common knowledge that the Lunar Ability was initially created from an ionizing radiation, but it had never been common knowledge that the Lunars also had a capability to stretch minds and bioelectric waves to stimulate nerves as if radiation would.

This effect was called an 'implant', as the bioelectric shock of a sudden and strong 'stretch' or bioelectric impulse caused by other Lunars would scar or implant a nervous breakdown. This nervous breakdown would essentially be either a bioelectric wave form denting down deeply, to implant itself into other bioelectric waves, or the shock of the Lunar Stretch tearing and forcing the ends of bioelectric waves into other waves.

And there were two people in on the Rampion that were in bioelectric shock.
