role in "the freak show." He's the ringleader — he opens and closes the show everyday — putting in his all to make the best show that he can, and he's damn good at being entertaining.
distinctive features. He's skinny and lanky — making him seem more agile on stage. His sharp features make him more intimidating than he actually is.
clothings style (on and off stage). On stage, he wears suits of any kind — but they're usually colorful or different patterns — along with a cape if he wants along with a top hat and cane. He's very into costumes so really anything that he can get his hands on — he'll add to his costumes. Off of stage though — he wears mostly button ups, slacks, and vests. The usual loafer here and there along with his reading glasses at times — he's very toned down clothes wise off stage compared to on stage.

personality. Eric has always been an energetic person. In his youth — he was always bouncing around which was very different to his younger brother. Eric loves being the center of attention and would usually do anything to get that attention. Honestly — he feeds off of attention, that was until he got the wrong attention. In school he started getting bullied by how much of a teachers pet he was — and he hated that. He hated how their words made him feel and how they would make him cry. He now kept his antics at home where only his family could watch him perform whatever he wanted to show them. In high school — the bullying got worse but Eric tried to keep his spirits up, he was a great student, he was in drama club, he had some friends — but those bullies always got to him. Eric never really learned how to defend himself — never getting his street smarts and only his book smarts. Even now, if you bully him, he'll resort to yelling, kicking, punching, and crying. He's a bit crazy — Eric stays up, never sleeping at all for weeks at times, just writing and coming up with new things for the show — he's lost himself a bit.
background. Eric Lange is the eldest child to Reneta and Harvey Lange — his younger brother Penn would be born a few years after him. Growing up was good for Eric — his parents entertained everything to him really — they let him do anything he wanted. Eric tried everything, cycling, instruments, writing, but they never seemed to stick. Until, he heard of magic — and from magic he learned about carnivals..and how there were different carnivals that ranged from being very tame to very dangerous. This was what he wanted to do — so he practiced being a showman and presenting things to his family. His school life was good — he's a very smart kid and he knew it. But when the bullying started, god was that the worst. It got more severe as time went on — what was teasing insults lead to fights in alleys. And by the time that Eric was 18, Penn now being only 15, he decided to create the freak show in secret — only Penn knowing. When Penn finally finished school, the two bought out land together and began setting up the tents. Of course, as time went on and Eric found more and more freaks — they bought more tents. Eric has basically now devoted himself to the freak show, and nothing will take it from him.

He made it to show himself as someone that's confident and smart and a showman, not a nerdy kid that was bullied.
