The evening light filtered through the curtains, casting soft shadows in Akito’s room. He sat on his bed, phone in hand, scrolling aimlessly through social media.

His thumb swiped on the screen of his phone endlessly, the content he consumed dull. The words on the screen didn't interest him as much as he hoped they would. Instead, he found himself staring idly at the shadows that danced across his room. The soft glow on his bedside lamp provided a warm ambiance. He let out a sigh, a soft huff, Akito couldn’t help but feel bored. The usual routine of school, practice, and coming home felt… repetitive.

He lets out a sigh, resting the back of his head against the wall behind him and staring at the ceiling. Tomorrow was going to be just as dull as today.

He sighs, closing his phone and setting it down on his bedside table. He lays back on his bed and closes his eyes, finding the silence of the room slightly unnerving. The stillness of the room made him feel unusually lonely.

He opens his eyes and stares up at the ceiling, his mind starting to wander.

He flinches slightly at the unexpected sound from his phone, breaking the silence in the room. He grabs it and opens the notification

The group chat, as usual. An and Mizuki were spamming stickers and memes back and forth, while the others were responding with half-assed reactions.
