I was searching at Claire's for the perfect earrings to go with my new fav outfit. I said"These are cute mom.""Oh they are aren't they."Said mom pretending she was listening."These are it."i said excited."We can finally leave this dump."Said my older sister Emily. "You used to love it here Emily."I said.
"Girls let's hurry up. Dad has news for us."Said Mom."What news?" I asked impatiently."I don't know." Said Mom.We bought my earrings and drove home.
When we got home Dad had dinner out on the table.chicken,pork,green beans,mash potatoes,black eyed peas,salad, and steamed vegetables."Wow my favorite buffet. healthy stuff."Emily said sarcastically."Whats up.We all know you can't cook Dad. The last time you cooked you almost burnt the house down.The firemen even asked which little girl did this.then you said that would be me soldier."I said.
Let's get down to business.I got promoted and I have to move to Miami Florida.So we moving? Dad asked."FLORIDA!" Said Mom."Yeah.Is there a problem."Said dad."No I always wanted to go to Florida!" Said mom excited as ever. "That's so cool dad."Said Emily."Yeah that's cool."I said.
Then it hit me moving would mean no more friends that I know no new school in Chicago. Maybe this isn't as exciting as I thought.
