"Roses"

-------------------------------------
--------------
It was a hot summer day, the sun beaming down on the city's side walk. Many people were out on dates at this time, and for jisung, it was no different...

A small bell dinged, a soft but noticeable sound ringing out as the pastel-pink door to the front of the book shop opened.
A dark haired boy stepped in, his hands full with a bouquet of red roses. A smile on his lips. He was dressed in a brand new looking outfit, and expensive jewelry to match.

"Jisung..?" The girl standing behind the counter looked up, noticing the boy she had been seeing for the last couple of weeks. Her brows lifted, trying not to smile as he came closer with the big bright flowers in hand, placing them gently on the counter.

"Hi." He smiled back, pecking her cheek. "You look beautiful." He commented.

She was still staring down at the flowers, not responding to his words, but his actions.

"Han, this..is so sweet." She said quietly, picking up the flowers and looking at them closer.

"Eh, it's nothing." The brunette shrugged, running his fingers through the girls hair, clearly taking the moment to admire her.

"It's not nothing!" The girl said. "These are the first flowers anybody has ever given me." She admitted. "I..I'm flattered."

Jisung laughed, finding her cute. "I don't get that." He shook his head. "How do the prettiest girls not get the most flowers, the math isn't mathing." He said. "I mean- not that I'm good at it anyway." He joked, making her laugh.

"These look expensive, Jisung.." the girl said, cradling the large bouquet in her arm.

The brunette smiled. "A true gentleman never says the cost of his gifts." He shrugged. "But...I can agree that it wasn't cheap." He said, making his way around the counter as to be beside her instead.

She rolled her eyes at him fondly, before placing the roses back down. "You're a brat-" she said, before jisung cut her off, his hand cupping her face as he connected thier lips.

That same soft ring of the doorbell dinged, but the couple didn't notice. To them the world had practically stood still once they had kissed.

And for minho.
He felt the same way.

"J-jisung..?"

The older boy's voice cut through the silence. His facial expression was unmistakably horrified upon seeing his boyfriend of two years kissing her.

The brunettes eyes shot open, parting lips with his mistress to see minho, his eyes already beginning to water. The girl gave minho a weird look, because she had never seen him before. But now he was crying? And he.. knew her boyfriend?

Jisung backed away from the girl, his heart immediately racing at the sight of the older boy.

Shit.

"Min, it's not what it looks like." Jisung said seriously, waving his hand. Minho shook his head, his chest heaving with anger as he looked at the adorable squirrel-like boy he had fallen so hard for.

"Y-you said she was your friend." The older said through gritted teeth, wiping his eyes with his wrist.

"What?" The girl said, now looking just as shocked as the other.

Jisung ignored her though, quickly making his way around the counter and over to his boyfriend. He grabbed his hands, placing them in his own.

"She was Min!" The younger nodded. "She- she was, but things just-"

"Excuse me?? What the hell are you saying Han? Who the hell is this!" The girl spoke up louder, her eyes beginning to water as her face turned red.

"I-I hate you." Minho mumbled, his throat feeling dry as the tears began to fall harder. He tore away from Jisungs grasp, shoving the smaller boy away before ramming the door open with his shoulder and running down the street.

Not looking back.
