Unknowingly we ended up falling asleep after having a long talk about different topics. I woke up to both of us entangled in each other's arms but before I could actually do anything, the sound of pounding on my room door made me jump up. I started to shake Juju.
There was no way I was about to get in trouble. I violently shook Juju, waking her up. Her eyes were barely open and she was looking around confused. "What? What, angel?" Her voice was groggily and soft. "Juju! Get your ass up and out of my room!" I whisper in a loud tone.
"What? What are you talking about? Give me five more—" She started to say when the sound of banging on my door made her jump out of my bed. She speed walked around the room, looking for her jacket I assume but nevertheless she didn't find it.
The pounding started to get louder. "You know what, i'll give it to you the next time I see you." I said as I stopped her from moving. Juju nodded her head and let out a heavy sigh. She walked over to the window and started to climb out. "Ay!" I quietly yelled. Juju turned around and raised an eyebrow.
"Be safe and make sure to text me." I moved closer and gave her a kiss. Juju smiled into the kiss and wrapped her hand around my neck. We were still kissing when the banging started again. Both of us rolled our eyes and she went back to climbing out of the window.
"Kamaria Devine Griffin! Open this door this instant!" I heard Aubrey yell. I rubbed my forehead and walked to my room door, unlocking it and opening it. Aubrey busted in as soon as she heard the door crack. "So you lying about having people over?"
Now that made me stop in my tracks. "No! No uh Aubrey what are you uhm talking about?" I was stuttering and that usually only happened when I was nervous. Aubrey frowned at me, shaking her head. "Princess, there's pictures of her sneaking into your window surfacing the internet."
Hearing that made my eyes pop out of my sockets. Not literally but still. There's pictures of her climbing through my window? Who would do that and how did they know she would be here. At the sound of me not saying anything, Aubrey pulled her phone out and showed me the post.
It was a slideshow. The first picture being Juju getting out of her car with her face fully visible, second one was her looking up into my window, third one being her climbing the tree right beside my window, and the last one was me and her looking at each other.
"Okay.. Aubrey please just hear me out." I let my eyes look up at her. She bit her bottom lip. Her not saying anything had me scared. I shivered and crossed my arms over my chest. "Juju only came over to apologize for some shit that happened at the party."
"Princess, all I ever ask is for you to be careful and to be honest with me. If you want to invite your little girlfriend over then that's fine but do not lie to me in my own house." Aubrey was always understanding even when she didn't want to be. That's probably one of the few things we have in common.
"I — erm She's not my girlfriend. I understand what you're saying though." I'm not sure what we are at this point. I licked my lips and paced around my room. Aubrey nodding her head at the sight. "Listen, y'all should put this rumor down to rest."
I nodded my head and just like that Aubrey walked out of the room. Instantly I ran towards my dresser, Picking up my phone and going to instagram. I clicked on messages and there was a bunch of people asking about it. I ignored them and clicked on Juju's messages.
