Scene 1: Foggy Streets of 19th Century London
(The scene opens on a mist-covered alleyway in London, dimly lit by flickering gas lamps. Shadows stretch across the cobblestone streets as a mysterious figure, Dagger White, stalks through the fog. His coat billows as he moves, his hands gloved in white leather, one hand gripping the handle of an ornate dagger. We hear the faint, eerie sound of a ticking pocket watch as he approaches a corner.)

Dagger White (whispering to himself):
"Tonight, tonight... Dagger White will play by his deep hands."

(His voice echoes in the stillness as he disappears into the shadows.)

Scene 2: The Discovery
(We cut to a small crowd gathering in the early morning light, near the same alley. Inspector Henry Blackwood arrives at the scene, his face grim. A young constable stands by, nervously shifting as they examine the grisly remains of another victim.)

Constable:
"Another one, Inspector. Just like the others—throat slit, body posed."

Inspector Blackwood:
(Kneeling next to the body, examining the telltale white gloves left beside it.)
"Dagger White... The monster strikes again."

Constable:
"Sir, the people are terrified. How can we stop a man who vanishes like smoke in the night?"

Inspector Blackwood:
(Gritting his teeth)
"We find him. We lure him out. We make him play by our rules."

Scene 3: The Letter
(Later that evening, Blackwood sits at his desk in the Scotland Yard office. A bloodstained letter arrives, delivered by a trembling messenger boy. Blackwood rips it open, his eyes narrowing as he reads aloud.)

Inspector Blackwood (reading):
"To the brave Inspector Blackwood,
Another has fallen to my hand, and soon, there will be more. I am the night, I am the blade that cuts the fear. You will never catch me, for I am already gone before you arrive. But fear not, Inspector, for you will see me soon.
Tonight, tonight, Dagger White will play by his deep hands."

(Blackwood crushes the letter in his fist, rage simmering beneath his calm demeanor.)

Inspector Blackwood:
"He's taunting us. But we'll see who has the last word."

Scene 4: The Trap
(Night falls once more, and the streets of London are empty, save for the occasional passerby hurrying home. Blackwood and his men hide in the shadows, watching the dark alleys and anticipating Dagger White's next move. Suddenly, a woman's scream pierces the air.)

Blackwood:
"That's him! Move, quickly!"

(They rush toward the sound, the fog thickening as they enter a narrow alley. There, illuminated only by the faint glow of the street lamps, stands Dagger White, his dagger gleaming in the moonlight, hovering over his next intended victim.)

Dagger White (smirking, in a low, cold voice):
"Tonight, tonight... Dagger White will play by his deep hands."

(He turns slowly to face Blackwood, his eyes gleaming with madness.)

Inspector Blackwood (pulling his revolver):
"It ends here, Dagger White. No more games. No more blood."

Dagger White (chuckling):
"You think you can stop me, Inspector? I am the dark hand of the city, the shadow that strikes when the light fades. You are the game, Blackwood. And I... I am the rules."
