Chapter 17

"No tasha" my mum repeated server all times in this argument.
"But mum! I only want to go to Liverpool for a week! I know my way round everywhere and know almost everyone, please let me go, i have almost enough money to pay for it all my self..." I begged.
she huffed, "fine. Il give you 200 that's it. The rest you can make up your self."
"Thanks mummy, I love you" I coed and hugged her.
"Yeah yeah" she rolled her eyes playfully, "just one condition..."
"And that is?"
"I have to meet Brad" she smirked and my stomach flipped.

Oh dear, this is the moment I have been dreading for a while... Not that I'm ashamed of him or anything. That's not even it. She's my mum! And I'm her baby, and quite frankly mums don't like their baby's hearts being broken by little boys with brown eyes and brown curly hair.

"I've met James, and as far as I know he would look after you very well. But that's his job is it, it's brads. Il tell you what... Invite him round for dinner tomorrow, we will go to chiquito!" She smiled softly.
"Sounds good to me." I smiled. Both nervous and excited.

Chiquito is my absolute favourite food place! It's an authentic Mexican restaurant and I always wanted Brad to come with me but I always forget to ask because we don't need to go to fancy places to prove that we are together. We just need to be in each others company.

It was Saturday morning and I had no plans. So I decided the invite the lads round since my mum had gone to my nanas with jake. I love them all so much, I don't have very many girlfriends apart from jasmin... Maybe I should invite her too?

I picked up my phone and added everyone to a group chat.
Brad- hey babe x
Tris- hola
Me- hey is everyone coming over today or what? Bring films😏
Jasmin- yas il bring The Maze Runner and chocolate👏🏼💖
Con- sure what time
Me- yes jasmin!! And asap guys😅

1 hour later Brad showed up at my door with popcorn and a share bag of Hershey's kisses chocolate.
"Hey!" I smiled at my boyfriend and gave a little peck on the lips.
"Hi" he smiled, kissing back.

By now it was 10pm and we had watched the maze runner, divergent, the hunger games and insidious! I was so tired and so was everyone else, so everyone decided to go home... Apart from Brad.

"Okay, they are all gone and all of the mess is tidied up, want to go on a walk" Brad smiled, whilst pulling me into his arms and holding me.
"Sure" I muffled into his chest.
He let go of me and put his hand on my face. Gently, he pushed the hair that was in my face behind my ear and dropped his hand down to my waist. My eyes shut, and so did his, our facing moving closer and closer to the other- until our lips crashed together and we kissed. Whilst kissing him I played with his tight curls at the back of his head and he held my waist.

We pulled away and hugged.
"I love you Brad"
"I love you too Tasha"
We slipped on our shoes and headed out the door.

Strolling slowly though the night, we held hands and sat down on a bench in front of a cute little park.
"So Brad, in order for my mum to let me go to Liverpool, she 'has' to meet you..." I paused and looked up at him to see his reaction then proceeded, "so she said we can all go out to a restaurant tomorrow called..." Again I stopped to look at his face but it appeared blank, "look Brad, if you don't want to go il tell her your ill or something" I sighed.

"What? Of course I want to meet your mum and brother Tasha!" He said, grabbing my hand and drawing circles on it with his thumb.
"Oh that's good" I smiled and kissed him slowly.
"So do you want to sleep at mine tonight then?" He asked.
"Sure" I smiled.

We walked back to my house and Brad sat there moaning at me whilst I took my time getting an over night bag ready. After I'd packed my bag we got into brads car and drove to his.
