A Ghoul In Tempest

Chapter 1: Early Life

"I think we will name him Hikaru. Hikaru Izawa," were the first words that Hikaru heard after he was born. Aiko Izawa and Daichi Izawa were absolutely blessed that they were able to bring a son into the world. Aiko Izawa was a game developer for the Japanese version of Counter Strike: Global Offensive while Daichi was a professional CS: GO player for 5 years, winning two world championships.

One day during a LAN tournament in Tokyo, they would meet for the first time. They would talk about the game for hours, which sparked their interest in each other. As the tournament went on, Aiko's love for Daichi grew more and more each day, as she was extremely impressed with his in-game talent as well as his communication skills and his commitment to the game. During Sunday before the Finals, Aiko would walk up to Daichi. "Daichi, I have something to say to you," she would say shyly. Daichi would look at her and smiled a bit, saying, "what is it." "I like you, Daichi. Ever since we first talked 2 weeks ago, the interest has just grown bigger and bigger." "Daichi would blush a bit but smile brightly before giving her a hug. "Aiko, I like you as well. I have felt the same exact way," he would say, slightly tightening the hug.

After this, Daichi was called by his coach to get ready for his finals match. Daichi would give Aiko a kiss on the forehead before walking backstage to prepare for the match. Blushing, Aiko would smile before walking back to her seat. As the match began, Aiko watched carefully at each player, but specifically Daichi. His team started off extremely slowly, dropping the first two maps in the best of 5 series. After a 5-to-10-minute intermission for a break, the team looked extremely different, dominating the third map and winning a long overtime fourth map, bringing the series to a fifth and final map. Aiko was stressing the entire series, giving as much support to Daichi and his team.

As the fifth map went on, it was completely back and forth. Neither team could get a big lead in rounds, ending off tied, leading to overtime. This overtime would last for almost another half an hour as each team went back forth round wise. When the score was tied 21-21, Daichi would run the Operator with no armor. This would be extremely high risk-high reward, and that is exactly what happened. Daichi would clutch a 1 vs 2 to put them one round ahead in overtime. The arena would erupt in cheers as the clutch happened, including Aiko, who was easily shouting the loudest. This round win would prove useful as they would go on to win the next three rounds, which won them the tournament.

As the crowd erupted as the last kill happened, Aiko would jump up and down, watching Daichi and his team celebrate together. As the team lifted the trophy, Daichi would look in the crowd to try and find Aiko. After the celebrations, Daichi and Aiko would finally meet up again. Aiko would give him a big and tight hug. "Congratulations, Daichi. I am so proud of you," she said, putting her head into his chest. "Thank you, Aiko. Thank you for the support this entire tournament," he said back, tightening the hug.

For the next few months, Aiko would watch every game, supporting her boyfriend in each one of them. Daichi's team would cruise through the Japan playoffs, clinching their spot at Worlds. His team would dominate each game, winning the world championship in a sweep. On stage after his team lifted the trophy, Daichi would bring Aiko onto the stage. He would then propose to Aiko. She would look shocked before accepting it. Daichi would put the ring on her finger before giving her a kiss.

They would get married and after nine months, they would give birth to their son, Hikaru Izawa. During his first couple years of his life, he was very energetic and loved to keep hold of a controller. During this time, Daichi would fully retire from competitive CS: GO while Aiko went to a new company to work on game for a different company, Overwatch and Blizzard Entertainment. When Hikaru was 4, he would waddle his way into Daichi's office, while he was playing Overwatch. He would watch closely at Daichi's movement and aim.

When Daichi noticed, he would chuckle before placing him on an extra chair. "This may be a game you will be interested in, Hikaru," he would say to Hikaru as he pulled up some videos of the professional scene, the Overwatch League, which was in its first year. Hikaru could not understand anything that was going on, but watching it amazed him. For the next few hours, Daichi and Hikaru would watch the live stream of the games that were going on that week.

Aiko would get home that night with a surprise for them. She would have tickets for the upcoming Overwatch League LAN tournament in Seoul, South Korea. This would be a first experience for all three and they were all extremely excited about it. A few days later, they would get stuff packed and fly to Seoul. Everywhere the family went, Daichi was noticed at least once by a fan of the CS: GO esports scene. As the LAN tournament concluded, the fan favorites, Philadelphia Fusion, would win the tournament trophy, beating the New York Excelsior.

Once the family returned to Japan, Hikaru and Daichi would watch games back and games that were going on that week. The family, who previously was connected so much to CS: GO has switched their love to Overwatch. During this time, Hikaru would begin to listen to music. He would listen to some Japanese music, but one group he was addicted to was a rising idol group called B-Komachi, led by Ai Hoshino. His favorite songs that B-Komachi produced were HEART's KISS, SIGN is B, and STAR T RAIN.

One day when thefamily was watching the news, it would show an advertisement that has B-Komachipromoting a concert they are having in Osaka. Seeing this, Hikaru would beg Aikoand Daichi if they could go. Without much hesitation, Aiko and Daichi would purchaseV.I.P tickets for it. Hearing this made Hikaru extremely happy as he huggedboth of them and thanked them. They would watch videos from B-Komachi, like previousconcerts and music videos for the rest of the night.
