Ladies and gentlemen if you don't live in a Muslim country you're missing out this one beautiful thing, kutbah Al jumma (yes I searched it cause I forgot the name shush). If you don't know what that is it's a short kutbah (also called sermon which means a talk on a religious or moral subject/topic) and it has to be the best thing to hear because it genuinely makes me feel more at peace. If my house was closer to the mosque I would open the window drink the tea and hear as the khatib (the person who is giving the kuhtbah) speaks. You might ask why don't I sit in the mosque instead? Welp while healthy men are obligated to pray in the mosque women are not, but it is still completely normal if the women wishes to pray in the mosque. But the mosques in my area are actually so filled with men at some point im an imposter 😭, it would be so easy to find Waldo in that moment (I'd be Waldo wearing a abaya). But seriously y'all the peace and serenity of hearing the athan or kutbah is very relaxing 10/10 experience!!
