By 2245, humans had evolved by a great deal as their technology and science advanced in every field, from planetary study to astronomy and from information technology to artificial intelligence.
On, the topic of artificial intelligence, around one century ago, which was 2300, some scientists found the technology to merge with the AI based robots. This information was used during an international outbreak where three billion lives were lost.
This instilled panic among the remaining nine billion people, the situation escalated pretty quickly and the scientists had to release their knowledge after which the government started their experiments on humans as if we were lab rats.
Surprisingly enough, this experiment was a pass and people became AI-human hybrids called 'DigiHumans'. The scientists responsible for this outbreak collaborated with the governments worldwide and formed 'BioSync'.
After the pandemic was contaminated it was believed that the hybridisation of humans with the AI robots would stop but that was not the case, to increase the profits; BioSync showcased to the people just how beneficial to us, naturally there were people who hated the concept and there were those who loved it. Soon there were two factions in the society globally, the 'Synths' who wanted to conserve their synthetic origin and the 'Nexians' who wanted to make a connection with this new era.
Wars started between the two fractions but due to insane levels of vitality of the Nexians the war became one sided, the population of the Synths declined and those remaining went into hiding.
Now, for the new generations the Synths or the 'Pure humans' are but a mere myth. Until, a certain human met a certain DigiHuman.
