Stewart's POV
At lunch we all had to sit with our cabins. For some reason. I'm in a cabin with Freckles (a cat from st creeks), Harry (a cat from Little Red) Mike, Ollie (from st. Creeks also a dog Frankie lives with), Simba (yeah.... Simba...), Storm (a dog from Little Red who's dating Daisy!!), Thor and Zane. So in total: 4 DSP students, including me, 3 St. Creeks students and 2 Little Red students. Ollie and Simba are best friends so they're happy they got each other. I'm happy I got Zane. Although I'm not so glad I got Simba. He's... you know. I'm not really that interested in sitting with him at lunch to be honest. I'm also sharing a bunk with Simba, I'm on bottom, he wouldn't accept anything other than top bunk (oof). Simba enjoys stirring Harry, Mike and I. He leaves the rest alone. Freckles is apparently the only male cat at St. Creeks he doesn't stir, tease or do any of that to. We're also the biggest boy cabin. I envy Zane though, he's the only one not sharing a bunk - he has one all to himself because we have an uneven number. Lunch is awkward though. We're having baked potatoes but our table is completely silent. Harry sneezes. "Someone not feeling well? Okay, little hawwy rawwy?" Simba said in a baby voice. Harry pushed up his glasses a bit and glared at Simba. Simba just relaxed and smiled. Don't know how he does it. "Leave him alone." Mike muttered. "Oh Mikey wikey, someone ruffle your fur?" Simba said again in his baby voice. "Nope simby wimby, *coughs* I mean wimpy." Mike said in his baby voice back. "Wimpy? Dang... that's a new low. Even for you, Mike." Mike looked fiery. "Well you can-" "EVERYONE STOP!" Freckles shouted and slammed his glass on the table. The whole hall turned around to look at us - Freckles mainly. I was expecting a teacher to tell Freckles off but no one said a thing. "Don't worry everyone, just Simba probably causing trouble again." Bailey said. He was right. "Oh really, Bailey? We're going to put blame on others now? Wow..." Simba stirred. Bailey took a deep breath. "Don't start with me, Simba. Don't you even-" "dare? You're predictable, you know?" Simba finished his sentence for him. Simba did a little chuckle. "Too easy, you all are soooo sensitive." Simba took a bite out of his potato. "I don't like Simba." I whispered to Zane. "Ouch. That hurt, Stewart, didn't anyone teach you it's not so nice to talk bad  about people?" Of course he heard, he probably has super hearing or something. After lunch I walked with Ollie. "Can't believe you and Simba are best friends." I said to him. Ollie didn't say anything. "He's just so..." I couldn't get the right words out - too many to describe them. "How about you just don't provoke him?" Ollie walked faster back. Jeez, that was not so good. I wasn't really provoking him. No one was, he was provoking everyone else. I liked Ollie at first, he's nice but the fact he sticks up for Simba and is his best friend? Yeah, no. I don't get that. If that's who Ollie chooses to be friends with, then I don't know, did Simba manipulate him or something? He doesn't seem like the manipulating type. Naïve maybe? Who even knows?! I could never be friends with Simba. Before we unlocked the door, Simba spotted Bailey. "Hey Bailey, don't trip on the way." He shouted out to him. "Are you a feral or something?" Bailey snapped right back at him. It was an amazing comeback, but maybe Bailey should've chosen his words better because what happened next was something. For once, Simba didn't look relaxed. Bailey was smiling and came towards us. Simba looked annoyed, he seemed to be the stirred now. "Feral, huh? Really..." "yep I said feral. I don't care. What are you going to do about it?" Bailey snarked. Simba coughed a bit. "Don't you ever call me feral." Bailey smiled even more. "Feral. Feral. Feral." Bailey rubbed in his face. "Mangy." Simba sniped back. "Ragged." "Mutt." "Stupid." It went back and forth. "Weak." "Tomcat." "Blunt paws." Everyone was gathered around, watching the dispute. "Would you both stop it!" Coco cut in. "You both are acting immature." Coco said. "I second that. Grow up both of you!" Gypsy backed her up. Bailey listened to Gypsy and went off. Simba smirked. "Weak. Couldn't fight his own battle. Needed his girlfriend to help him."  Gypsy shot him the dirtiest look I've ever seen. "Go back to the streets or grow up." Simba shrugged. Everyone stared in shock by what just happened. The crowed went away and we unlocked our door, Simba went for a fresh air walk. "Gosh, so annoying. Makes my blood boil." Harry said. "Couldn't agree more." Mike said. We started talking about Simba. But Ollie was most definitely not having it. "Would you all just shut up and stop?! You don't know nothing about Simba, he's had a hard past and you all have nothing good to say about him! Sure you're allowed to no like him, but don't bad chat him constantly. It's a disgusting trait." Ollie said. "You know what's a disgusting trait? Being his friend. Why do you even stick up for him?" Mike said to Ollie. "Oh you don't even know. He needs a friend, everyone would always leave him in the dust. How about try helping him?" Ollie left in a huff. "Simba can be nice." Freckles said softly. "He's just really insecure. I don't know him as well as Ollie but he's not so bad when you get to know him. He doesn't have a lot of friends and things happens in his past." Freckles said. Had we been wrong all along? Simba's not that nice but then again, we weren't being so nice either. Bailey and Mike especially.
