When I woke up again, I found myself in the boot of the van. It was very cramped there because Piper was also in the back of the van. I couldn't see her though, because I was blindfolded.

My entire body was wrapped up in rope, which made it practically impossible to move. My hands were also handcuffed. I had read online that once you got the the second location of kidnapping, it was generally game over for you.

However, I had no way of doing anything to help me get out, so I decided to try and memorise the turns the van was taking so that I had a vague idea of where I was. I thought that maybe I could try and run away once the van stopped and opened up. Although, I couldn't really move anywhere because of the rope. Still, it would be worth a try, and maybe the kidnappers would untie me so that I could follow them anyways.

As if on cue, the van made a pause that was a bit too long to be just turning. We were at the second location already; I must have been unconscious for a while.

The boot door opened, and I felt myself getting picked up from the van like I was a parcel. I was basically blind, and could barely move, so I was practically helpless when they were carrying me into the house. I guess only a miracle can save me now.

I think we went down a flight of stairs because when I was finally untied and blindfolded, I was in a dark room with mold on the walls. I tried to use this as an opportunity to run away, but they grabbed me and pinned me to a wooden chair and tied me to it. Now I was really in a pickle.

"What do you want from me?" I said, my voice trembling.

One of them laughed at me and said, "You'll find out soon enough. First we need to speak to your little friend here."

Then he placed a piece of duct tape over my mouth so that I couldn't speak and went to the other side of the room. I struggled as hard as I could, but these restraints were just as unforgiving as the ones I had in the van back then. I was completely terrified; I still had so much to live for. If I didn't get out of here, I would never grow up, go to college, get a job, have children.

A lone tear escaped my eyes and ran down by cheek, before a couple more followed. I wasn't ready to die!

Over by the place where Piper was, there was a loud thud and the splintering of wood. I looked over to see that one of them had gotten angry and had pushed Piper's chair over. I wasn't too concerned about that. What I was concerned about was the fact that Piper hadn't screamed. She had either been knocked out or had gotten a concussion, and I didn't like either of those options.

One of the men took out his water bottle and poured it over Piper's face. She quickly got up and picked up a piece of the splintered wood to try and defend herself. I wanted to help her, but my hands were tied - literally
