Y/N hadn't thought much of tonight other than it being a fun hangout with her best friend. But Mia was a force of energy beside her, practically vibrating with excitement.

For months, she'd been going on and on about One Direction's Where We Are tour, and tonight they were finally here in Miami for the last show. To Mia, this was more than just a concert—it was a dream come true.

Mia had planned every detail down to the last second: she'd secured the tickets, decided on a little black dress each, curated a playlist for the drive, and even paid someone to camp out in line for them to secure a prime spot.

She was a dedicated fan, and even though Y/N had never been as invested, she was here for Mia. They'd been friends for over eight years, and Y/N couldn't deny that she'd been influenced by Mia's obsession. She liked their music well enough and was up for a fun night.

When they finally made their way into the massive Sun Life Stadium, Mia practically sprinted toward the front row, zeroed in on the barricade dead center, where she'd have the best view. Y/N followed, laughing at her friend's determination.

The atmosphere was electric as thousands of fans chattered, awaiting the main act. After the opening act 5SOS wrapped up, the crowd became a sea of wild anticipation, the energy pulsing through every person there.

The stage lights dimmed, and the shadows of five figures appeared. Y/N barely had time to cover her ears before the crowd erupted into a deafening scream.

Mia was on the verge of ecstatic tears, jumping and shouting as the band emerged fully into view, bathed in blinding stage lights. As the first few notes rang out, Y/N scanned the stage.

Each band member had an unmistakable charisma, and she couldn't help but be drawn in by how different they seemed up close.

But one of them—his wispy brown hair slightly sticking to his forehead from the heat, his arms on full display in a black muscle tee, tattoos creeping up his arm—caught her eye.

He was sprinting across the stage, tossing a cheeky grin toward the audience as he sprayed water at his bandmates, his whole vibe full of carefree mischief.

Her breath caught as their eyes met. He was singing the opening line of the next song, which seemed quite fitting to the moment, his gaze lingering on her as the words echoed through the stadium:

Little black dress just walked into the room

Makin' heads turn, can't stop looking at you

It's so right, it's so right, it's so right, you know

It felt like the lyrics were meant for her. Their eye contact held for longer than she'd expected, a silent exchange that made her heart beat faster, sending a warm flutter through her stomach.

She couldn't look away as he glanced back at her, his eyes gleaming with intrigue and a hint of a smirk.

She nudged Mia, "What's his name?" Mia barely broke her focus on the stage. "Louis Tomlinson!" she yelled, eyes bright as she continued singing along.

Curiosity piqued, Y/N pulled out her phone and quickly looked him up. She learned he was 22, from Doncaster, and had a reputation for being the band's notorious prankster.

But before she could dig further, a shadow fell over her, and she looked up—only to find Louis himself leaning down, peering right at her, as if he was summoned by Mia yelling his name.

Her heart stilled as he raised a brow, noticing her screen. A smirk curved his lips as he watched her face flush.

Her mind blanked as he reached over, gently taking her phone from her hand, his fingers grazing hers with a warm, quick touch, sending goosebumps throughout her body.

He aimed the camera at himself, took a selfie, and then tapped out a quick message before slipping it back into her hand with a playful wink.

Y/N stared, frozen, her heart pounding was the only thing she could hear. When Y/N looked down, her breath caught realizing what he'd done: he'd typed in a number with a message, "Since you're so curious ;) xx."

She whipped her head back up in shock to look at him, wide-eyed and caught him observing her with a knowing smile.

"Oh my god," she thought, feeling her heart race as excitement washed over her and the butterflies fluttering wildly in her stomach.
