There was a unforeseen rumble in the distance. Something was approaching me. As the dry ground ahead of me cracked in two, it revealed the malicious beast that was concealed within the core. Every step towards me was like an earthquake, knocking my balance. I tremble yet my feet are stuck like glue. I felt helpless. Suddenly, a tall, dark stranger appeared on a high ledge. As he jumped off, he looked like he was almost gliding, with his cape softening the fall. He began hurtling straight for the beast and just before it could reach me, the man used his Scepter to control it and slam it into a wall. Rocks fell and crushed the beast. In it's still, pulverized form, there was no doubt it was dead.

The man suddenly spoke which shocked me slightly,

"Wow, do I have to beat brother in everything? By not only killing the previous dead, beast's unknown twin, but also faster than Thor and with such flare?"

He was loudly shouting to himself which worried me.

"Yes. I think so!" he said grinning to himself, "My, that was a lot fun! Are you alright?" he turned facing me, "Do you need any further assistance?"

I was just staring at him in awe. He just killed a creature and in doing so, he saved my life. Right before my eyes. Plus, he seemed to be a tad mental.

"If you would conform young man, that would be excellent."

"Oh s-sorry, yeah... I'm good." I stuttered while adjusting my posture.

"Wondrous. Now, if you'll let me, I'll be going back to that ledge over there and finding the exit, as I am quite busy. Trying to gain royal dominance in all realms and all is pretty hard work, hah!" He turned and strolled off towards the ledge. But being the curious-minded teenager I am, I had the sweet urge to follow him.

"So, you ain't like me are you?"

"Damaged?" he said while continuing to walk forward.

"Oi! That's well rude. I meant like, from my world and stuff."

"No, with great pleasure, I am not." he turned and stopped to face me,

"I guess the way I speak and do things is quite archaic to you. From what I've gathered from you, is that the way you contrived me to fight this beast, showed your lack of fighting skills. So, unless you are completely insane, you wouldn't be skipping around this beast's cave if you were from this realm."

"Well, when you grow up in a small rental home in England, nah, you ain't gonna learn much about fighting beasts in Jotunheim, mate."

"Ah, he knows where he is! That's something at least." he said patronizingly,

"Also, don't be witty, you don't supply enough intelligence to amuse me."
