At the heart of the galaxy lies a planet untouched by the ages, rich in power. Flying above its surface, 5 sharp shaped fighters shot.

Nina checked the sonar pulses. "10 days and nothing," she yawned. "yea," Yano said, laying down in his flight seat tossing a ball up and down.

The machine beeped to life. Yano shot up, they both looked at each other, "This is it! Yes!" She kissed the sonar machine.

"Alright," Yano said, pulling his seat up and unbuckling his harness.

Nina pushed some buttons on the console and the ship's operating system rung in their ears, "Prepare for landing." It said in a robotic voice.

Nina and Yano stretched and called over a their block droid, "Schweep! Schweep," it beeped and two blasters appeared from an opening in the square droid's top, "Thanks bud," Yano said.

"Schweep!"

"Gross," Nina said, checking her blaster.

Swoosh, the bay door opened.

Nina and Yano clinked their blasters together.

"This is Nina Tano, code 2424."

"Roger that." A voice responded from her transmitter and 2 more ships appeared on the horizon circling them.

Large sharp and flower antlered beasts looked up for a moment from their grazing on the few remaining grass parcels found on the surface of the cold planet.

"Here we go," Yano said looking through a scope at the cave entrance only a hundred feet away.

He put the scope down and saw Nina with a row of prints behind her.

Yano scoffed and ran to catch up.

"You can't run off on me like that, it's a joint mission!"

Yano caught his breath.

"That's what you get for eating all those Eeshes, I told you they make you fat."

"They're delicious!"

"They're gross, I hate it when they wiggle in your mouth,"

"But that's the best part of Sudarian Eeshes,"

A gust of wind flushed from the cave and past the two, Nina's breath became shallow for a moment. They went inside and found a twisting corridor once used by jedi long ago. Murals with earthy base paints lined the walls.

Nina stopped to take it in, they both flipped on the flashlights on their blasters.

"I'll go ahead," Yano said, his voice echoing ahead of Nina.

The wall showed a snowy planet like this one, a group of jedi standing together, both young and old against a single man with a red saber glowing black around its edges.

Yano's flashlight became more and more useless as the gems lining the walls became brighter and brighter, they hummed. A small carved out room was drenched in darkness however.

An urn sat alone next to a pile of papers. He turned his flashlight back on. It was a stack of lightsaber blueprints. He opened the urn and felt energy around it as he glanced at the ashes. The corner of the room hummed like the corridor but this was a deeper hum, a deathly lullaby. Whispers flooded Yano's ears,

"He's heeeeeere"

"finally," another voice whispered."

"Come to the darkness,  we've been waiting"

He heard a laugh from the other side of the room and jolted in that direction. A cylinder of bones enclosed a single lightsaber with a black hilt and a red line down its side. He could tell they had been jedi, he had seen one and the feeling they give was hard to forget. The finger bones were curled around it locking it in place.

"Gooood, curiousity is gooood," The voices all chanted.

Entranced, Yano walked towards the saber.

"Taaaake it,"

"power," a voice whispered.

"Sooo much power," another agreed.

Yano grabbed the saber and pulled it. The bones began to crack in revolt; he pulled harder. With a hard push it was released and he fell back on his butt as a result of the pressure.

The voices laughed softly together, "Push the trigger..."

He did, and a red saber enclosed with darkness emitted. The room grew cold and the flashlight on his blaster that he had placed on the ground popped in an explosion of glass.

Yano! A voice echoed down the corridor.

He reached out his hand to touch the darkness, it engulfed his finger.

"Yano!" Nina yelled. He pulled his hand back.

Nina panted at the room's entrance. "They're here."

Yano held up the saber and pressed the trigger, sherink it disappeared.

"Wait till Amos hears about this!"

They rushed to the front of the cave, ion blasters rung their ears and one of their ships crashed to the ground exploding on impact.

"Crud," Nina said.

A series of ships landed in front of them and a loud voice boomed from one as soldiers exited its hatch. "Lay the saber down and we'll think about giving you a fair trial."

Nina looked at Yano as if to say We're doomed.

"Raiiise your handd" The voices whispered in his ear. He raised his hand.

"Reach out with your strengtth young one." He pushed as hard as he could with his mind and a blast of energy knocked all the soldiers back a solid 6 feet. They groaned and some searched for their blasters that flew much further.

"Run," Nina said and their feet shot dust up in the air as they boarded their ship.
