I couldn't help but to stare at the two women that had just arrived and gotten off the bike. They were both so muscular.

Not only that, I knew that other woman was Powder's sister. She had a white tank top on with some baggy black pants and black combat boots. Her neck, back and arms tattoos curved nicely to the muscles she had built.

Her pink hair was slightly pulled back as she ran her fingers through it, most likely stressed out. She turned her body around to put the helmet on the back of the motorcycle, making me notice that she had that side of her head shaven.

"What are we looking at over here?"

I slightly jumped and nudged Jayce on his side. "Knock it off, you gave me a fright." I said as I felt my cheeks warm up from being caught staring at another woman.

Jayce Talis, my best friend and a professor here at the university. We've known each other since we were 14, when my mother thought that getting a 90 on a test was basically a sin and decided to hire a tutor for me. She wasn't very trustworthy of other adults around me so she had someone from my academy recommend her another smart child to come tutor me. That tutor being Jayce.

"You're literally getting better grades than I am. No offense but your mom is a little intense." Was what he said after I showed him proof of all of my grades the moment the doors of my room closed. It was the first thing I was determined to do since my mother mentioned tutoring, so he could believe me in not needing any help.

Jayce gave me his infamous tease smile. "So, you gonna tell me who the pink-haired girl is or keep drooling?"

I rolled my eyes and smirked, "I was definitely not drooling, but.." I hesitated a bit as I looked back at the woman, who had her back turned towards the crowd and was scratching the back of her head as she talked to Sevika. "I'm pretty confident that that's Powder's sister."

Jayce's eyes widened as he looked at Vi again. He snapped his head back to look at me with his mouth wide open. "You're kidding, I thought she wasn't going to be able to make it. Powder was sulking the whole time in class."

"To the point that she started to believe she hated her." I added on, rubbing the bridge of my nose. I looked over at Powder, who was playing the alcohol-free version of Beer Pong with her two brothers like Vander had told them to.

Mylo was freaking out about Powder making a ball in one of his cups and Powder was clinging on to Claggor as she jumped up and down, squealing.

"She's hot, I see why you were gawking at her." Jayce said out of nowhere. I frowned my brows and looked at him in disbelief, "What would Mel think about you saying things like that?"

He chuckled and patted my back, "Relax, not trying to steal your girl. I'm just trying to lighten up the mood. You worry a lot about Powder, she's going to be okay."

"She's not my girl." I sighed deeply and rubbed the bridge of my nose again. Such a bad habit of mine when I'm stressed. He was completely right though. I cared a lot about the teenage girl, seeing her in a bad headspace isn't something I enjoyed seeing. I know Vi being here while the festival is still going on will make her very happy, but I'm also concerned about later in the future.

I really hope things work out between the two. I'm not sure where Vi has been these past few years or how their relationship was like before she left but from how Powder reacts most of the time when it comes to her sister, I'm not extremely sure if things will go smoothly.

Vi has always been a hard topic for Powder, and maybe it's for a reason.

Jayce also had another fair point, Vi was extremely attractive. People might describe me as a priss or a prude for choosing to abstain from any sexual activities and not being interested in dating as an adult but little did they know, I used to sneak in girls in my room when I was younger and would make my mother absolutely furious each time she found out.
