Semper Fi. Latin for Always Faithful. The chant of the US Marines. It's what we need to be.
Yesterday, Thursday July 16, a gunman opened fire at two Military centers in Chatanooga, Tennessee. Four Marines were killed, a Navy sailor was critically injured, and a Marine recruiter and a police officer were injured. These people and their families need prayer right now.

Prayer has power, so we need to use this power to show them that God's here and they do need to remain Always Faithful. Whether we pray alone or in numbers, God hears us. Use this power to show the Marines and Navy that God's here and He's got this.

I havea cousin in the Marines and I pray for all US Military everyday, but today I especially am praying for the Marines and Navy, especially those in Chatanooga and in the state of Tennessee. They need it so we should use this power to demonstrate the work of God.

1 Timothy 2:8
"Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or disputing."

God wants us to come together and lift each other up no matter what our differences are. He hears us wnd works with our prayer. When we lift God up in praise and prayer, He hears it and with the power of our prayer, miracles do happen. Use this power today and everyday for Chatanooga and for each other. Prayer has force, use it and make a difference.

James 5:16
"Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective."

Whether we are praying alone, in silent prayer, in groups, out loud or in popcorn prayer, or are screaming out our prayers and praising Him through song, He hears it and answers us. Prayer makes a difference, so use this power and do something with it.

I'm praying for Chatanooga. I support our troops, I am Semper Fi. I want to make a difference, and through prayer I am.
