The information about the No. 19's guest to Mom's birthday, being an assassin, bothered him.

More than usual.

That was the sixth death threat to him in three months. They have snuffed all of it out, of course, but somewhere deep inside of him, he feared they might someday be successful.

He was Kade Valenti, head and controller of the Valenti family. He should not be feeling this way.

He will not be a weak link to the dynasty. He will be a model to all of the family.

Then why was he still feeling this way?

Well, his feelings can wait.

All he wanted to see was guest number 19. He can't wait to fuck him up.

Mira stepped out of the SUV, her gown shining in the dim glow. Alex had gone out of his way to get her the best, most expensive gown he could. He was adamant she had to look the part to act the part, to which Mira agreed.

The black gown fell sleekly over her body, matching her hair and her lipstick. Her shoes should make her stand out, but thankfully, she wasn't the only one rocking red heels.

There was a long line of people at the doorway surrounded by large burly bouncers. A man with a well-tailored suit was checking in guests, matching their invitation passes to his list.

She quickly recalled what Alex had told her. She was guest number 19, Sara Austins. She is from Wisconsin, and works in Flimka, Hollywood's biggest movie studio.

She is 34 years old, widower with 2 kids. And she got invited because her boss, Santiago Martinez met Baroness on a flight to Zurich. He was supposed to be here, but he got a stroke a fortnight ago. She was here as his replacement.

This spot was perfectly chosen due to the circumstances surrounding it. No one from the Valenti camp has seen the real Sara Austin. So it was easy to hack into their guest list and change the picture of the real Sara to Mira's.

And that has been done. If they checked the photograph of the real Sara, Mira's face would pop up.

Five people stood before Mira, and though she looked cool and calm, her heart was doing multiple summersaults. All it takes is a little mistake and all their plans go up in smoke.

"Welcome to the Party, Mrs. Liz Fonte." the man in the suit said to a middle-aged woman.

"Stop that. Call me Miss, sugar. My husband died last year." she said with seductive eyes.

"Okay, I hope you enjoy yourself tonight."

"I will sure do. Come along when you have the time. I've got all the time in the world for you baby." she said and winked.

The man got repulsed and tried so hard not to show it. But he couldn't. Mrs Liz on the other hand seemed to enjoy it.

Mira smiled. Dirty old creep.

Back to the matter at hand, two more people and it will be her turn.

"Welcome, Raja Kapoor and Lady Sonia."

"Namaste." The man dressed in a white robe and turban said. His wife standing behind him only smiled.

"Hope your journey was as peaceful as a guru's sleep?"

"Thank the heavens."

"Enjoy our hospitality."

Mira's heart skipped a beat as she was next to be checked in. For a split second, she hesitated, but confronted herself. If she really wanted to do this, bring Kade down, then this is it.
