"Hachooo!"
"Sorry guys." George almost immediately apologized for sneezing, "I might be getting sick or something."
He sighed, after wiping something from his face and looked back at the camera.
It didn't take long for chat to be full of "bless you"s or "get well soon"s.
"You guys are the sweetest. I don't know how to feel. To be honest - to be honest I've been having throat pain since today's morning. I really might be sick." George told his stream."Maybe I will overcome it. I really don't want to get a cold 5 days before the flight."
George fell back into his gaming chair, pinching his eyes from the exhaustion he was already feeling.Slowly, resignation threatened to take over.
George really didn't look forward to a runny nose especially this week. Sickness was always predictable to happen at the worst times when there was loads of stuff happening in life you needed to be healthy for. Like the dream teams flight to a planned visit of germany.
George sighed again, knowing chat could probably see his frustration so well."Should I end the stream?" He asked, sensing his own energy was used up and seeing how he had been live for about 5 hours at this point.
"Guys...guys I actually think it's time to end for today...We've...talked, we did minecraft ...again finally! We did a thing...yeah I think I'm gonna end the stream." he announced and searched for his settings. He was lowkey tired.
"Thank you shallifence27 for the 5 gifted subs." He said, catching up on the subs and donos he's missed somehow. It took less than a minute for him to fall into a monotone tempo while reading and about 3 minutes until he was finished."Alright. Thats it!" he exclaimed surprised and went on to also close the game.
"I will go now...Yes chat I will drink enough tea. We have like uhm...we got a healing tea that's good for your throat here. Yes I will rest and take care. You -" he pointed at his camera, "You guys promise me to take care too. Don't get sick like me." He laughed."Alright so we are done. Im gonna end the stream now. Thanks chat. Bye!" He waved at them, now kinda hyped to finally lay down and get under the blanket.
"Byeee, bye!" He repeated and then his face on the screen was no longer on twitch.Strangely relieved, he made himself comfortable on his chair, putting one arm behind his neck, massaging it. He grimaced, as he already felt the pain creeping up in his limbs.
He stayed in chat for about two or three minutes more, didn't want to face the harsh reality of getting sick yet.
It was Dream who opened George's door next.
A quiet "Are you still streaming?" interrupted George's activity of staring at messages over messages."No, I'm done." he responded, bathing in the comfort of his friends presence.
Motionless, he waited for Dream to do something.
"I've been cooking. It's pesto. Wanna come eat?"
George's smile found its way onto his face once again."I think I'm sick." George confessed as they were sitting at the table downstairs.
Sapnap stopped in his tracks, noodle halfway up in his mouth.
"Oh my god really? Get away from me." In a wave of dismay Sapnap made it a complicated thing to move inches away with his chair.
George chuckled tiredly. "Yeah, get away from the dangerous virus."
"Oh no.." Dream commented empathetic instead, sighing before he spoke. "That's pitiful. What do you feel like?""Ugh. It's just the sneezing and this subtle feeling of heavy limbs...my legs are actually hurting already." he mumbled. "And I've also got this slight headache."
Dream was silent. Slowly Sapnap spoke: "You know what this could potentially mean, right?""Ugh, don't even make me think about canceling my flight." George groaned, tilting his head that was resting on his cupped hand.
"Wait wait wait." Dream interrupted, stopping the potential bad mood. "Calm down, everyone. I'm sure he will be fine and healthy in time."
