Being a 15 years old girl with study hard and work hard every times for family is not easy for Minji. Her family is a family of farmers. They was living in one of the provinces in Korea, known as rural areas with beautiful views.Their house isn't big, but as a family of farmers, her parents and grandparents have large field crops with a wide variety of plants, fruits, flowers, and other crops that they grow. Back when she lived with her grandparents, she has to sell flowers or fruits for money to help her parents. If you don't know, Minji is the only child they have so sometimes she helps them out.
But now she doesn't live with her grandparents anymore. She moved to live in Seoul since her parents wanted to find other jobs to get some money to help pay for her education and bills.
Her parents decide to buy a house in one of village near the capital city. Minji doesn't have any friends in her old school so she doesn't have to worry about leaving her friends.
After moving for a month, her father got a job as a reporter while her mother is as a housewife.
Every times she has time, she visits her father to bring lunch for him.
Minji isn't like the other kids who keep asking their parents for money to hangout with their friends. Even in this age Minji is more mature than them because she understands that it's not easy to make money so she has to save up for herself.
" Goodbye eomma, appa!" She says and hops on her bike.
" Be careful, Minji-ah!" Her parents say from the house.
" Ne~"
At her new school, she has one friend. Her name is Kang Haerin who is in the same class as her. Since she has moved to this school, Haerin became her only friend that she has and she is her first friend here.
Haerin would explain her when she's curious about something and Minji does the same when Haerin doesn't understand exercises. Moreover, Haerin lives near her just three blocks away from her house. But her neighbor also has a son that he has been trying to be friend with her. Minji doesn't mind him but sometimes he's a bit loud and he acts like he's a gangster and immature.
" Hey, Minji! Wait for me let's go to school together!" While she's riding her bike suddenly her neighbor shouts from behind so she stops.
" Okay."
" Don't you bring your sister with you to school?" Minji asks him because normally he would go to school with his sister.
" No, we just had a fight. She didn't do what I told her to do." He says with frown.
" It's your sister anyway and you're her big brother. Don't be too harsh on her." Minji tells him as always.
" You don't have any siblings, Minji, so you won't understand." He says the truth.
" I know. Anyways you can go first if you want. I have to wait for Haerin."
" Can I go with you guys?" Minji doesn't say anything just nodded her head.
On the ways to Haerin's house, Hanbin keeps asking her where she's from and asking about her family. Minji answers every questions without hiding.
