Jes's POV

My heart pounding hard against my chest as I cast my eyes down and look at Bible's sleeping face. How did we end up in this position? I sigh and lock him with my hands before I slowly get up. It's hard, with a drunk healthy male body but I manage and stand up finally. I pull him to one side and hold his waist tight while rounding his hand on my shoulder. His body keep swinging as he lost control of it. I look around and hail a cab. Carefully putting him in first, I then settle in the car and head to his house.

Upon reaching, I pay the cab driver and carry Bible to his room. It's a long travel, I literally have to carry him into the house and all the way up to his room. And he isn't light weight either. Finally, after carrying him for 10 minutes, I gently place him on his bed and let out a loud sigh. Damn! That's a lot of work. I slump down the bed beside him with my battery low. Wasn't I trained in military? Why am I already feeling exhausted after this small task. Compositing myself after a while, I get up and was about to leave with one last look at Bible only to realise he might need to be changed because jeans and jacket isn't comfortable to sleep. I contemplate whether to change him or not but decide to do it anyway. I look around the room in search of his closet and find two doors. Opening the first one, I find it to be a washroom. I open the other and get greeted with a small size showroom of fashion.

Rich people things. Shaking my head, I enter in and grab a t-shirt and shorts before going back to Bible. I remove his shoes and clothes before putting on the ones I brought. Even when I'm pulling him to sides, he doesn't bulge. The guy is so wasted. I finish with my task and finally leave the room. Ride back home takes a while but I finally end the long night with a sleep.

Morning comes fast and I get ready to work.

"Good morning, sir Bible." I greet Bible when I see him sitting in the living room.

While holding his head in his hand, he looks up and sees me. I give him a smile but he hisses out before tightening his hold on the head. Must be the hangover. I note internally and put the pills I brought for him. I knew something like this would happen after the amount of alcohol he had last night so I came prepared. I bring some water from the kitchen.

"Here, have this pill, sir Bible. It'll help with the headache." I put forth the pill and water.

"Thanks." He stares for a minute before taking and gulping the pill.

He gets up and was about to fall down when I catch him.

"Do you want me to take you to your room, sir?" I ask him.

"No, I'm fine. I just feel dizzy." He mumbles not looking at me and removes my hands as he stands on his own.

"Want to sleep?" I query further.

"Not really. I'll fresh up and come back." With saying that, he goes to his room.

I sit on the couch as I wait for his return. Almost after 30 minutes, he climbs down the stairs in his casual tee and tracks. Is he not going anywhere today? I think to myself.

Walking down, Bible avoids looking at me and goes to sit on the couch far distance. I get confused but shrug it off and head to kitchen.

"Is the soup ready, aunty?" I ask the lady. I told her to prepare soup for Bible.

"Yes, here." She hands me the bowl. I thank her and head back to Bible.

"Sir Bible, here is your breakfast." I place the bowl on the table.

"I can't eat. I'm already feeling like shit and have vomiting sensation." He mumbles, still not looking at me.

"This soup will help you." I tell him while pushing the bowl towards him.
