——HARRY HAD OFFICIALLY LOST HIS MIND.

"You can't!" Hermione said at once. "After what McGonagall and Snape have said? You'll be expelled!"

"SO WHAT?" Harry shouted. "Don't you understand? If Snape gets hold of the Stone, Voldemort's coming back! Haven't you heard what it was like when he was trying to take over? There won't be any Hogwarts to get expelled from! He'll flatten it, or turn it into a school for the Dark Arts! Losing points doesn't matter anymore, can't you see? D'you think he'll leave you and your families alone if Gryffindor wins the house cup? If I get caught before I can get to the Stone, well, I'll have to go back to the Dursleys and wait for Voldemort to find me there, it's only dying a bit later than I would have, because I'm never going over to the Dark Side! I'm going through that trapdoor tonight and nothing you four say is going to stop me! Voldemort killed my parents, remember?"

He glared at them.

"Harry," Greyson tried to reason with him. "They were my parents, too, and look, you are right, Harry, but don't you think this is a bit dangerous? How are you going to fight against Snape, or Voldemort when you can't even turn a toothpick into a needle!"

"I don't care!" Harry yelled, "I am not going to let Snape or Voldemort take the Stone." He signed when no one said anything, "I'll use the invisibility cloak, it's just lucky I got it back."

Harry wasn't changing his mind. And he wasn't going to let his brother go straight into the lion's den alone, "But will it cover all five of us?" He gestured to everyone around them.

"All–– all five of us?"

"Oh, come off it, you don't think we'd let you go alone?"

"Of course not," Hermione said briskly, sharing a look with Ron. "How do you think you'd get to the Stone without us? I'd better go and look through my books, there might be something useful. . ."

"I–– urm," Clementine raised her hand as if she was in a class. "I am sorry, I–– I can't come with you."

Greyson looked at her, his heart dropping all the way to his toes, "Why not?"

"I am not–– I am scared, alright?" She shook her head, staring down at her fingers who fiddled with each other. "We are dealing with–– we are dealing with You Know Who, and I don't–– I don't think we should be doing this, honestly. But–– but I can't really change your mind, and if you want to really look for the stone, then who am I to stop you?"
