On the outskirts of a city called Harper, there was a hotel called "Therian Hotel". To get there, one would take a short path into the forest. There was parking beneath a wooden canopy and an outdoor pool behind the building. The inside was decorated minimalistically with live wood furniture and potted plants.
Each room had a large window and a platform bed with the more expensive ones having balconies or bunks. The bedding included a habitat-specific comforter with a big white or black Theta Delta printed in the center. Every piece of furniture was made with live wood that complimented the earthy-colored walls.
A very mild incense was burned in the lobby, creating a calming aura throughout the whole building. A few alterhumans sat in the lobby, reading books from the shelf, while others were in the cafeteria, chatting over a cup of coffee. Some preferred to lounge in their rooms or go shopping in Harper, while a handful did quadrobics in the woods instead.
The staff usually enjoyed hanging around in the back rooms of the hotel. They would play games as they waited for their work shifts to begin. However, on this day, one of the staff members was aimlessly wandering around the hotel instead.
