It was a bright, sunny day on the beach of Natlan.Lumine had decided to take a break from adventuring. She has a book in one hand and a drink in the other, trying to relax.The gentle sound of waves was relaxing until a familiar voice broke her peace. -''Hey, Lumine! Check out my impressive diving skills and my toned muscles!''Childe called, splashing into the water.He is grinning widely, his hair glistening in the sun. Lumine rolled her eyes and wears a fake smile. -''Yeah, yeah, very impressive,idiot. It's not like anyone asked you to show off.'' she sighed.She is trying to sound disinterested but secretly enjoying his flirtiness. Lumine was focused on reading a book and suddenly her peace was interrupted by screams of panic.Lumine's heart raced as she realized what was happening... Childe was struggling in the water. "Lumineeee!GOKGOKGOK!" Childe shouted and Lumine's serious side kicking in. ''Wait for me!!!!'' With quick move, she dove into the water, She swam with determination, her heart pounding, and she reached the Childe who was flailing helplessly.Lumine pulls him from his waist and saves him. Once they reached the sand, Lumine laid the Childe down and checked to make sure he was okay. "Breathe, just breathe. You're safe now," she assured him, her heart still racing. ''Okay, I think I need to do mouth to mouth," she said. Lumine puffed out her cheeks dramatically, then blew air into the Childe''s mouth, her eyes wide with focus. After a few tense moments, Childe coughed and spluttered, finally expelling the seawater. He opened his eyes with smirk and winks at her. ''Wow, Lumine! That was incredible!" Childe smirked and pulls her closer to him. ''Let's do that again.'' "Shut up! I was just doing what anyone would do!" she snapped, but the blush was betrayed her "It's not like I care about you or anything!"[4:44 PM]Childe grinned, sensing her tsundere nature at play. "Sure, whatever you say! But I definitely owe you one." ''Don't be ridiculous!" she stammered, her face turning even redder. "I-It's just-Ugh, why do you have to make everything so awkward-" Before she could finish, he leaned in, closing the distance between them, and pressed his lips against hers. The kiss was gentle but filled with the electricity of everything unspoken between them. Lumine's eyes widened in surprise, but as the warmth of the moment enveloped her, she melted into the kiss, her heart beating faster. But as soon as it ended, she pulled back, her expression was dramatic.. "Ugh! Why did you do that?!" she exclaimed, pouting as she crossed her arms. Childe blinked a few times with confussion "Uh, what? Did you not like it?" "I didn't say that!" she is trying to look angry but she secretly was enjoying it. "You can't just kiss me out of nowhere!" "Looks like I did," he teased. "Stop that! You're so shameless!" Lumine snapped, her face flushed as she turned her head away.
Childe's teasing smirk playing on his lips. "So, Lumine, what's next? Want to go on an adventure with me?" She bit her lip, considering his offer. "I... I don't know. You'll probably drag me into trouble." "Wouldn't be an adventure without a little trouble," he said with a wink. "But I promise to keep you safe." Childe's smirk widened. "So it's a date, then?" She turned away, trying to hide her smile. "I guess so! Just don't get any weird ideas!'' He pulls her and they started walking. "Where are we going?" she asked. "You'll see," he replied with a playful smirk, leading her to a cozy little restaurant.After a while Lumine noticed and Lumine's eyes widened at the view of the restaurant.They entered in. "Wow, it's beautiful!" she exclaimed. Childe grinned as he watched her. "Just wait until you taste the food.You have to try the grilled fish! And the rice, of course. It's amazing!"[4:58 PM]After placing their orders they started chit chatting and Lumine found herself comfy around him and blushed.Childe's eyes sparkled with excitement.As their food arrived they started eating and Childe stares at her. "You see? I told you it was good!" he said, grinning proudly. "You were right!" she admitted, a smile spreading across her face. "This is delicious!" Childe paused for a moment and stares at her smile and mesmerized by her smile.''You know, you're beautiful when you smile like that," he said softly. Lumine felt her cheeks heat up, and she quickly looked away, pouting. "Shut up! Hmph!" "Why do you always have to react like that?" he teased."It's just the truth!" "Just because you say it doesn't mean I'll believe it!" she replied and giggled.[5:00 PM]After a while as they left the restaurant, hand in hand, Lumine can't help the feeling that this was just the beginning of something beautiful.
