ANNELISE BECKER was definitely new to the situation that had just been placed in her arms— literally. A drunk man who wouldn't stop speaking slurred words begged her to take him home.
And that's what she did...

Obviously to anyone else this situation would be a big red flag but Elise knew this man wasn't harmful when he was constantly making jokes about people she had no clue about. Not to mention the name he'd given her— 'Guggi'

After successfully taking him home she left him a note to prove that she wasn't a total weirdo and she just brought him home like he asked— which the more she thought about it the weirder it sounded.

And after 'Guggi' had given her a text and Elise found out his real name was Elijah they would not stop talking to each other. Well mainly Elijah, he wanted to make-up for what she had done for him.

But after a bratty and crazy ex, no shows, missed calls, and so on, they inevitably stopped talking.

Until Guggi finds himself calling the one person he knew wouldn't give up the chance to help him while he was in the worst state possible.
