Friend Dates

Waves, food, and two boys. Two boys who are idiots and can't confess their feelings. Their feelings for each other.

"It's been a pretty long time since we did something like this together. Just us, and no one else." The puppy boy spoke. He was right, it had been a long time since Him and his hyung been had been somewhere together, just them two. He missed those days a lot.

"nn.. You're right. Im glad we had an opportunity today, Minnie. Hopefully we get more chances to go out together more often." The older spoke. He was too shy to admit that he missed the days him and Seungmin would spend time together. He always hoped of days where he could have alone time with the younger, but with the amount of work, it was impossible.

There was silence for a few moments, both boys trying to find a conversation to start.

"I really wish we could have more breaks, I miss the days where we would hang out often, almost like we were going on dates." Seungmin spoke up, trying to find a way to not make it awkward with silence.

"Can we call this a date then?" Minho suddenly asked, his face straight but his heart pounding so hard it was literally about to pop out of his chest.

"Hmm.. What ever you want to call it, Hyung. A date, a hangout, whatever you want. But if you do wanna call it a 'Date' then consider it more like a friends date or whatever.-" Deep down, Seungmin wished it was a real date. Like, a date couples would have.

Minho was sick of them being considered friends or best friends, he wanted to be known as Seungmin's boyfriend. He wanted to take him out on real dates like couples would, he wanted to spoil the younger like a couple would, but most importantly, he wanted to show the younger love. Not brotherly or best friend type of love. Love that a man would show to his partner.

"Well, in that case, im calling it a date. Leave out the 'friends' part tho." Minho could feel his hands start to sweat, and his heart beat fasten. He decided that he was done with being called Seungmin's friend or bestfriend. He wanted to be called his boyfriend.

"What-? What do you mean leave out the 'friends' part..-" Was Seungmin's dream actually coming true? Was Mingo actually going to confess his love to him? Oh lord, please let it be true.

"Leave out the 'friends' part." Minho paused, thinking about how to confess to the younger. "Seungmin, I don't want to be considered your friend or best friend anymore. I want to be considered your boyfriend. I want this date be the same way couples would have dates. Kim Seungmin, will you be my boyfriend?"

"Kim Seungmin, will you be my boyfriend?" Those words were enough for Seungmin to start blushing like crazy. He was shocked, he didn't know what to say. He wanted to say something but he was so shocked he couldn't think of anything else other than him and Minho being a couple.

"I..- are you- being for real..-?" A half of Seungmin believed it, the other half didn't. But he wanted to make sure he wasn't dreaming or being fooled by the older.

"Seungmin, what makes you think I would be lying about stuff like this? Of course Im being for real!"

.....

"Yes. I'll be your boyfriend, Lee Minho."

Minho blinked rapidly, a habit he always had to make sure he was awake and not asleep.

The two idiots were boyfriends, finally. But all that Minho was missing, was his kiss. A kiss to be sure that Seungmin was his.

"Seungmin.. Can I..-?" Minho asked, slightly leaning near Seungmin's face. He waited for a response until he got one.

"Don't ask, just kiss me already."

Minho reached his hand out to cup Seungmin's cheek, bringing their faces closer to eachother. Eyes fluttering shut, until Seungmin felt a pair of soft, moist lips pressed against his. Seungmin could taste the strawberry chapstick that Minho had on his lips. The kiss was soft and short, yet both boys poured all their love into it.

Once they both pulled back, both of them were panting slightly. When Minho caught his breath, he spoke.

"I love you, Kim Seungmin. I hope we can call this a real date now."  Minho's lips formed a smile when he finally declared his love to Seungmin. His boyfriend.

"I love you too, Lee Minho. And, yes. We can call this a real date now. Also, from now on, we're no longer friends or best friends, we're boyfriends." Seungmin confessed his love back to his boyfriend. Outside he seemed normal, but from the inside he was screaming and blushing.

Now, there were no more idiots. And now, there are     boyfriends. No more friends, or best friends. Boyfriends.
