"Travis!" Taylor cried, her face lighting up as she spotted him. She ran over to him, falling into his arms. Her whole body was aching after giving everything to that show, but as she stood there backstage, relishing in Travis's touch, she couldn't be happier.

"That was amazing baby, I'm so proud of you" Travis grinned, pulling away and pressing his lips to her forehead.
"Thank you for coming!" Taylor beamed, her cheeks flushed. The pair started walking down the hallway, their arms around each other.

They stopped outside Taylor's dressing room and Travis held the door open for her. She thanked him, walking through and flopping down on the sofa.
"Okay babe, I need to go grab something real quick so you wait here? I'll be quick" Travis asked, the door to the dressing room still open. Taylor nodded, closing her eyes and resting her head back.

Travis left the room, shutting the door quietly. He had bought her flowers as this was the last show he would see in person, but had accidentally left them in the car.
"Hey Mark!" He greeted Taylor's driver as he grabbed the flowers, making sure they were arranged nicely.
"Hello" Mark responded, smiling slightly. He enjoyed seeing Taylor in love, this time with someone who actually treated her right. Travis slammed the car door and with the bouquet in one hand he made his way back down the corridor.

He knocked on Taylor's door before opening it and stepping inside. Taylor was fast asleep on the couch, her head rested back and her mouth slightly open. Travis smiled at the sight; she really was the most beautiful girl in the world.

He made his way over and carefully sat next to her, making sure not to jostle her too much.
"I'm back" he said softly, brushing some hair away from her face.
"Mm, Trav" she mumbled, squinting her eyes open.
"I got you some flowers baby" he said as he helped her sit up.
"You did?!" Taylor exclaimed, her face immediately lighting up. Travis handed them to her, his heart bursting at the pure joy on her face.
"Thank you so much! I love you" Taylor leaned forward into him, wrapping her arms around his body.
"Well done for being so amazing, I'm so proud of you. I love you so much" Travis mumbled into her hair.

It had been half an hour of them just sitting like that, basking in eachothers touch.
"I'm gonna go put these on the table" Taylor grinned, her face a picture of pure joy and happiness. Travis watched her go, smiling giddily. He was so in love.

Taylor placed the bouquet on the table that was on the other side of the room, near the door. Suddenly a thought entered her mind and she turned around, a mischievous smile on her face.
"Trav, we-"

She was cut off by a loud bang, sounding a bit like a firework. Taylor was pushed back by the force of the explosion, Travis too. Splinters of wood and plaster were flying everywhere as the drilling sound of the fire alarm cut through the room. Flames of different colours- red, orange- spread around the room, licking up the walls, burning through the ceiling. Chaos could be heard, screaming and shouting echoing throughout the stadium.

But Taylor and Travis were both completely oblivious to this as they both lay on the floor, eyes closed.

Travis woke with a start, sitting up quickly. The air was thick with smoke, heat radiating throughout the room. Other than the piercing sound of the fire alarm and the thundering of flames it was quiet, no sounds of the outside world could be heard.

Travis wasn't sure how long he had been passed out, and as he squinted, looking around the room, something suddenly clicked in his mind. He gasped, scrambling to his knees and feeling around the floor.
"Taylor!" He tried to shout, but it came out in a croak, the smoke snaking down his throat.
