I remember that summer like it was yesterday.It was hot cloudy with a light smokey breeze that caressed my hair as the gentle breeze blew by.I was about 15 it was the begining of summer and I was hanging with my older brother Mat in my basment we were waching are u smarter than a fith grader and if I got a qwashtin rong he'd give me a sarcastic punch and say ull git It next time kid oh id give him a smirk and go back to waching the show.My brother was 17 but failed and if he got a qwastin wrong id say oh no I hear the cycle of 12 grade coming again he'd laugh and say shut up or ur not gonna be alive to see if I make it next year than id say I don't half to be alive to know u wont than silence creeped in the room after are laugh died down.At that silence it all begain.

MATS P.O.V.

After the laugh I sate up and told danny id be back I could not tell her where I was going so I just made up somthing danny asked mat were u going uhhhhh I half to go drive the trash to the dump shed smile and nod turning back turds the tv I new I was out of the clear.I had to go too work to make mony for food tonight see are dad pased when I was 10 and danny was 8 so it was hard and are mom was always depressed because of it, he died of lung cancer evrey time the commercial came one with the donate to cancer patient thing she would start balling.I closed the door behind me to the basment and went up stairs and out the door.
