Me:*going to the mall with my parents to buy presents for us cause we decided to not surprise each other on that christmas*

Also me:*opening a gift and seeing a santa claus doll that we definitely did not buy* "When did you buy this-??"

Mom:*the one who told me to open that present* "On our mall trip"

Me:"Huh" *suddenly remembering seeing it at the store, but not buying it* "But how did I not notice-"

Dad:"Since when are you not oblivious?"

Me:"....good point"
