"You know? I think they hate me

"You know? I think they hate me." with her foot she pushed the stone.

"It doesn't matter. The leader loves you." She laughed at Enid's answer.

The next day, she had decided to spend time with Enid since she, and as the girl wanted to go out, Robin followed her.

Enid wasn't that expressive, or she didn't talk to the others in the community. She said she had reasons why she only talked to a few people, she was very distrustful and after all, she didn't tell her, but Robin had given her a friendly vibe to interact with each other.

"I don't want them to love me. But if I stayed alone with the readhead, I would appear dead."

It was for survival, if something like that happened, if they liked her there would be a chance that they would help her and she wouldn't die. And she knew that Abraham would leave her with a horde of walkers behind.

"I don't think that'd happen." No one believed Enid's words. "Okay, yeah. You screwed up."

"You were a cheerleader, right?" She used her sarcasm to avoid stepping on piles of dry leaves, as it would make a loud noise and was dangerous.

"In my past life." The joke continued. "Seriously, I doubt they would want to kill you if they knew you were important to the leader and the leader's son."

"You may be right, it may be because anything can happen and betrayal exists."

"Someone betrayed you?" Robin sadly knew it and, telling the truth, nodded.

"Everything sucked, so it's better to not remember it." The discomfort was noticeable, Enid decided not to get involved in that subject any further.

But she didn't avoid asking questions about other topics about Robin, being Enid a girl who didn't know the old Robin that well, she was able to easily answer the basics ignoring telling more or saying details that she wanted to forget.

"The horrible thing is they don't give you a gun, mom and dad had one but they didn't have bullets and... they lost it in some part of the world." Enid grimaced after telling.

"Mine have it, if they are out there they surely still have it, and I am surviving with my little knife."

"But you were agile in the trees, you are... Stealthy as a Cobra" she nudged her repeatedly, laughing at Robin who, feigning annoyance, pushed her sideways in a friendly manner.

"Silly." She told her and the other girl winked at her proudly.

"I know."

Who would have thought that Enid's words were partially right?

Enid and Robin's conversation had been months ago, although none of them knew what day it was without knowing how time was passing so quickly. Rick's group had to gradually get used to Robin's attitude, who spoke more words to those she lived with, Daryl, Rick and Carl (the latter along with Maggie, Carol and Glenn, were the ones she spoke to most often).
