Have you ever felt that feeling, the one where you just don't know?
A kind of ache when you wanted someone to change so much, but they never do.
Have you ever cried and cried, hoping they'd finally be different,
Only to find they stay the same?Have you ever felt torn between your mind and your heart,
Knowing deep down they won't change, yet you still stay?
And that feeling when you believed they'd never harm you,
But they did anyway?Yes, you cried, wondering how someone who's supposed to love you could hurt you,
Yet you stayed, just so their feelings wouldn't feel like yours.But let me tell you... I know that feeling, too.
And I've learned my feelings aren't here to bend for someone else's.
They're mine, and they're here to be honored.
