Theres always a power imbalance. No matter how many people you split the power between, there will always be one that needs more than the other. One man can ruin an entire world with too much power. The gods were not ready for that type of power. They thought that humans were small beings with no possible way of having thoughts such as they did. They thought that they would be able to handle taking on human forms and overseeing entire kingdoms. Three of them, power of half of the entire world was put onto three people, sure they were immortal, but still human.

The first King being Mavron. The God of water. Before his years as king, he would spend hours upon hours riding sea dragons throughout the ocean to discover new things. That's where he realized that sometimes the unknown was destructive. The second King being Chiron, the God of fire. From a young age, he had always had a fascination with candles and the ways they burned. But candles can sometimes be dangerous, they can be the cause of an entire family dying if you aren't careful. The third king being Seren, the God of night. When the sun leaves the sky and darkness takes its place covering the blanket that seems to never come off, everything becomes horrifying. As you could expect water, fire, and night don't mix. Water and Fire fight for a chance to be better than the other until one dies and can't be turned back on. Fire and Night can look promising, fire can look like a light in the dark, but it could also be a burning village in the distance. At night, water can be dangerous. The water turns completely dark, and you won't be able to see what might be coming for you. But in this world, somehow these three elements did mix.

For a long time, they were able to rule all three kingdoms with pride and peacefulness. Alterpek being Mavron's Kingdom, Brocaburn being Chiron's kingdom, and Fethgrove being Seren's Kingdom. Combined, they called the four kingdoms Calordia. With the time that the gods spent lusting over women and indulging in their treasures as newfound kings, the humans made progress with their powers and had become so angry at the kings for not caring about their people's needs that they wanted to end the King's reigns. And while they tried, the kings were determined to continue the life they had as rulers. They decided to show these five villages their true immortal form. That alone was enough to make the humans terrified of hurting the Kings, because what could be the punishment for killing Gods?

Ravenbury, Stillcoast, Rockvane, Mythfield, and Heartvale. The five villages the rest of Calordia were not allowed to know about. They cowered away from the King's rules and stayed in their small villages never to be seen again. Hidden in forests and behind mountains, not a single person besides the Kings themselves knew that they were there. But someone can't stay hidden forever, eventually, you have to be found.
