When the duo got home, Rei had chosen to first call the manager first to see just what type of person they were. It wasn't long before she heard a male voice on the other end of the phone. 

"Tsuno Rin speaking."

"Hello my name is Harawa Rei, I was given your number by one of your idols who goes by the name of Rey-rey. I know that she has recently been looking for a singing partner, I was hoping that I could speak to you and the producer of her music to see if you two would be okay with me being her singing partner. I have many years of singing experience plus I already have a fanbase." Rei explained

"I know who you are Miss Harawa, I've seen and heard of your work. It has been discussed to have you be called to be given the position but was discarded due to the lack of things we could give in turn for you leaving your job as a vocalist for what you are doing now."

"Honestly, just being able to be on stage with my best friend would be good enough for me. I am personally reaching out to see if this career change is worth it in the end. To see if people enjoy seeing me beside Rey-rey or not." Rei explained "As it is, my soul mate is an idol and I'd like to see how things feel from the other side of the stage."

The male hummed out in thought before he spoke up to her. "If that's the case, We'll give you a half year trial as a trainee. You'll be paid half of what Rey is being paid. If by the end of the half year you feel like it isn't your forte we will part ways with you. But if by chance you enjoy your time with Rey, we will bump your pay up so you are at par with her and introduce you two as an official duo together."

"Sounds like a plan sir."

"Alright then, I'll talk with Rey and the producer. No need for you to get your hands dirty talking with that idiot. We'll be in touch Miss Harawa."

"Yes sir, thank you." She said before the call ended

Rei fell back against the couch as Masato sat beside her giving her a cup of tea. "I heard a part of that, so what is the verdict?"

"I'll be giving a trial run for half a year with half pay of what Rey gets. If I like what I go through then I'll get equal pay as Rey and we'll be introduced as a duo. If not then we'll part ways like nothing ever happened." Rei said as she took the tea cup with both of her hands thanking him

"I see, so it's a trial and error type ordeal then?"

"Mhm, pretty much. I want to see how my fan base feels about me being around my bestie. Her and I have gone through so much and if I can keep a better eye on my cousin that'd be even better for me. But I want to be sure that my fanbase understands that just because they think something is good for me doesn't mean that they are right about it." Rei said before she took a sip of her tea

Masato moved closer to her and wrapped his arm around her pulling her closer to him. He then kissed the top of her head softly. "You'll be just fine, I promise. I'll support you no matter what you chose to do as long as you are happy with what you chose to do that's all that matters."

She looked up at him with a small smile. "Yeah...guess you're right about that Masa. So what is Shining having you do now?"

"Nothing just yet, I haven't gotten anything from anyone just yet so I'm just going to enjoy the time that I have here with you." he said with a smile

"I like the sound of that Masa." She said happily before she placed her tea cup down and snuggled into his chest with her eyes shut. "Thank you for being there for me earlier."

"Of course, What Ren did wasn't cool. And the fact that Avery didn't even think to talk to you was just stupid on his part. You didn't deserve to be treated that way."

"No kidding...I hope now that things will get better from here on out though."
