"HALT, HUMAN!"

The Beta Tester moved closer.

"HEY, QUIT MOVING WHILE I'M TALKING TO YOU!"

There was a moment of silence, before Sans spoke up again.

"I, THE MAGNIFICENT SANS, HAS SOME THINGS TO SAY. FIRST, YOU'RE A FREAKING WIERDO! NOT ONLY DO YOU NOT LIKE PUZZLES, BUT THE WAY YOU SHAMBLE ABOUT FROM PLACE TO PLACE... THE WAY YOUR HANDS ARE ALWAYS COVERED IN DUSTY POWDER. IT FEELS... LIKE YOUR LIFE IS GOING DOWN A DANGEROUS PATH. HOWEVER, I, SANS, SEE GREAT POTENTIAL IN YOU! EVERYONE CAN BE A GREAT PERSON IF THEY TRY! AND ME, I HARDLY HAVE TO TRY AT ALL!!!"

Sans gave out his signature laugh, as the Beta Tester moved closer to Sans.

"HEY, QUIT MOVING! THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT! HUMAN, I THINK YOU ARE IN NEED OF GUIDANCE! SOMEONE NEEDS TO TO KEEP YOU ON THE STRAIGHT AND NARROW! BUT WORRY NOT! I, SANS... WILL GLADLY BE YOUR FRIEND AND TUTOR! I WILL TURN YOUR LIFE RIGHT AROUND!!"

The Beta Tester moved several inches away from Sans. Sans noticed again, but this time, he didn't get mad.

"I SEE YOU ARE APPROACHING. ARE YOU OFFERING A HUG OF ACCEPTANCE? WOWZERS!! MY LESSONS ARE ALREADY WORKING!! I, SANS, WELCOME YOU WITH OPEN ARMS!"

Sans reaches out his arms for a hug. That's when the Beta Tester struck for Blue's neck, decapitating him in one swift motion. So, there on the ground, inches from his body, was his head.

"W-WELL, THAT'S NOT WHAT I EXPECTED."

Sans' body started to dust away, leaving his head on the ground. The Beta Tester took the opportunity and stomped on his head.

"OW, OW, OW! BUT... KNOW THIS, HUMAN. I ST-STILL BELIEVE IN YOU. YOU CAN DO A LITTLE BETTER,  I..."

Before he could finish, Sans dusted completely.

Sans was dead.

After that encounter, Beta continued testing the Genocide Route of Underswap. As a large green hand grabbed a handful of his dust and vanished.

Going through Alphys, Napstablook, Papyrus, and finally Toriel and Temmie. The Beta testing was done. Time for Underswap to have its first reset. 

When all the monsters awoke, they noticed they had scars from the Genocide Route. Alphys saw her scar being melted over her eye, which is why she now wears an eye patch, to hide it. As for Sans...

Sans awoke and scratched the back of his neck. He then heard a knock on his door.

"yo, bro. i'm heading to muffets. you want anything?"

"LET ME GET READY REAL QUICK, PAPY!"

As Sans was getting ready, he tripped on a random piece of cloth on the ground. He toppled over and when he opened his eyes, he was in for a shock. He let out a scream so loud, some would say all of Snowdon heard it. Papyrus ran back upstairs to check on his brother.

"sans? are you ok?"

"YEP! GREAT! DONT COME IN!

"uh..."

"JUST GO TO MUFFET'S, PAPY! I'LL CATCH UP?"

Hearing this, Papyrus left the house and headed Muffet's cafe. Meanwhile, in his room, Sans was staring at... His body? Well, maybe it used to be. But now it's moving on its own, has a blue flame on its neck, with a little face on it.

"SO... THAT WAS REAL?"

*flashback to his death*

"I guess so."

Sans started to cry. His body came over and hugged him.

"Hey, hey. It's ok.

"I WISH I WAS NEVER IN THAT FOG. I WISH I NEVER OFFERED MY MERCY! I LET EVERYONE IN THE UNDERGROUND DOWN."

Sans cried harder as his body hugged him tighter*

After a few minutes, the body finally set Blue down.

"C-CAN YOU... PUT ME BACK ON?"

The body nodded and put Sans on the neck. Sans was whole again. But the scar from the decapitation was still there, and noticeable.

"OH... HOW DO I GET RID OF THIS?"

With seer luck, Sans turned his head and saw a light blue scarf hanging from his coat tree. He put it on, and decided to wear is from that day forward.

We all know the rest of Blue's story by now.
