Bobby was excited, excited to get home. Excited to see what would happen. Excited to see his lover. But at the same time, angry. Angry at the way he had to do this. Angry with the fact that his lover leaves him at daytime, but comes to him and hugs him in his dreams. Angry with the fact that his lover, left him in this world. Angry with Hanbin, for leaving him. For going away. Leaving him alone, so alone in this cruel, grey like world.
The days at work were long. But he could easily get trough the day when he tough about his lover, Hanbin. He would often drop the after parties at work to be with Hanbin. Sleep with him. Even though he knew it was a little rude to not attend the parties.
He knew what key he needed to use so he could get inside without even looking at them. The small difference he started to notice after Hanbin left him. Before he could be stuck outside the door trying to get the right key, now he knew it by just dragging his thumb over the side of the key.
He quickly took off his suit. He worked at a big company, and he needed too look classy all the time. Threw his jacket at the table, his tie following after. His shirt on the couch and shoes and sock in the middle of the floor. When he was inside the bathroom he only had his tank top and pants on. It didn't take a long time before they were laying on the floor.
His showers were quick, so he could eat earlier and go to his lover earlier. After the shower he walked to the kitchen, found something quick and and easy to make. After he put it in the oven, he walked out to the living room to see the mess he laid there. With a sigh he started to tidy up that room. Not too long after all the clothes was in the washing machine and the pair of shoes was in it's own little place in the corner of his entry. The irritating sound of the oven saying that he was done with the cooking.
After eating he put the plate and glass and everything else in the dish washer he went to the master bedroom. Looked at the bed before looking at the clock. 10.43 P.M it said in a bright red writing. The time he usually went to bed. Prayed for sleep too take him, show him Hanbin.
"You came babe?" Bobby heard, a smile planted itself on his face. "Yes" he said, Bobby couldn't hide his happiness. And kissed Hanbin without wasting a second. Grasped his neck for his dear life and felt Hanbin's hands slide down his torso, down to my waist. His fingers holding me in place. "I miss you" Bobby said, after breaking the kiss. "I know I miss you too darling" Hanbin whispered. Kissing Bobby's skin right under his ear.
Bobby was disappointed after he woke, again. As he always were. A knocking was heard on his door and he slowly took on a pair of shorts and shirt. Opened the door to see Chanwoo. "Do you want to do something today?" Chanwoo asked, again. He started it as a way to help Bobby back on track after the world stole Hanbin from him. Now it was a routine they did every Saturday and Sundays. Someday it wasn't Chanwoo, but his other friends in his group. But normally it was Chanwoo.
"Yeah, what do you want to do?" Bobby asked him and went to the master bedroom. Chanwoo went inside, and closed the door. He normally did this. It was something they had gotten used to. It was their way of helping Bobby on his way back on track. They all could see that it has helped him, but he still wasn't his old self 100%. Slowly after 3 years he slowly started becoming himself again.
"He came tonight again" Bobby said, staring at the sky. Chanwoo nodded slowly. Looked around in the park. "Was it lovely?" Chanwoo asked, leaned back and stared at the changes of Bobby's face. As he went from sadness to happiness. "It was" Bobby said, pulled up the shirt to cover his smile. But his cute eye smile gave him away. Chanwoo smiled. Happy that Bobby still was together with Hanbin in his dreams. "I still like the dreams better than this" Bobby said, his smile slowly fading when he started thinking again.
He knew that he could never get Hanbin again. Only in his dreams, he loved the nights when he had lucid dreams. But the other dreams were okay. Only that he loved to control his own dreams better than them controlling him.
If you gave Bobby a wish, only one wish. He would wish for Hanbin. Under one second we would say something like "Hanbin back" or "Us two to be together forever.
He still remembers the day he got the news. Never in his life have he cried so much than that day. The day Hanbin died at the hospital. After a car crash, the other guy escaped. So no one knew whose fault it was, or if the other person is still alive. At 12.12 A.M Bobby got the message that Hanbin had gotten into an accident, and was in the hospital.
The funeral was one of the worst things for Bobby. His family came to him all the way from America, to be in the funeral. The day they came, Bobby hugged his mom without wasting seconds. Cried in her embrace and followed her like a puppy around. That night, he slept in his mom arms. Clinging to her like a monkey. His face in her hands, protected. The nightmares he had didn't come that night. At that moment he felt happy, but sad.
