Chapter 3

Arthur parked his bike alongside some other bikes

He turned around to look at the male sitting behind him. Arthur honestly wanted to smack the helmet, but he knew Kai would get annoyed and actually kill him.

"Really?! A club?!" Kai asked,clearly disappointed

Arthur huffed and rolled his eyes. "Then where did you want to go?!"

"The movies!" Kai pouted in exasperation. "I'm your best friend;you should know by now that I've been talking about wanting to see this movie with you for weeks!"

"We're in one of the most famous clubs in this city," Arthur shot back. Kai crossed his arms over his chest. "Well, this isn't a movie." he replied.

Arthur sighed. Sometimes he wanted to give Kai a good slap across the face. The guy was just too much sometimes-well most of the time.

"Fine! We'll watch a movie,but can we at least get a drink first since we're already here?!"

Kai smiled. "Alright!" They both walked to the entrance of the club,and Kai pushed the door open.

They were greeted with the soft,blue lighting and people dancing everywhere.

They both went to the front counter,and a young female bartender approached them.

"Hey! What can I get for you?" She asked.

Arthur didn't recognize her,but Kai did.

"Janice!" Kai smiled warmly "It's so nice to see you again!"

Arthur raised an eyebrow as he watched Kai and the blond girl, who he assumed was Janice. She had blond hair,beautiful blue eyes,and a French accent.

"Kai,maybe....introduce us?" Arthur suggested dryly.

Kai quickly realized and turned to him. "Right! Arthur, this is Janice, my best friend. Janice, this is Arthur,my grumpy childhood bestieeeee!"

Arthur rolled his eyes at being called grumpy.

"Well,it's nice to meet you,Arthur." Janice smiled,her face lighting up. "Kai's told me so much about you."

Arthur nodded politely,but he didn't smile. He wasn't the type to smile at people he had just met.

Once they ordered their drink,Arthur turned to look at Kai,took a sip and narrowed his eyes.

Kai noticed and raised an eyebrow "What?!"

Arthur quickly cut to the case "You have other best friends?!"

Kai rolled his eyes "Come on,man! You aren't the only friend I have."

Arthur quickly added "No,but I should be!!!" Kai rolled his eyes "Such a drama queen!"

After they had a drink or two,they started chatting. Unfortunately the club got crowded,and Janice had to go serve other people, leaving a sulking Arthur and a Kai who was trying to convince him that no one could ever take his place. But Arthur was too damn stubborn and couldn't listen.

"How about we go dance?" Kai suggested with a mischievous grin. "Turn that frown upside down,smile,bitch!"

Kai snickered as Arthur frowned. "You're mean!" Arthur murmured, though he couldn't hide a small smile.

Kai isn't the mean one but Arthur is. Poor Kai, always gets teased and traumatized by their friendship.

After a good few minutes of convincing, Arthur finally got up, and they started dancing,blending into the crowd.
